- I discovered Miriam Hopkins from the movie "The Children's Hour," and through Miriam I discovered Kay. I am so enamored by these two amazing, and extremely under-acknowledged actresses that I made this video for them. I hope they like it, and I hope you do to. (It took me forever to find a song that wouldn't cause problems. But I like this one.)

I adore Kay not only because she was beautiful and talented but her performances were heart felt, even the turgid Warner melodramas.

Tennesse Williams felt Miriam Hopkins was one of the great American Actresses. She starred in the first public play by Tennessee Williams and it was primarily because of her fondness for Tennessee Williams she agreed to play in his "Battle of Angels".

I strongly recommend 24 HOURS (Paramount 1931) in which they both appear but unfortunately have no scenes together. Dare say you've seen it anyway. Great upload!
