I want to thank everyone for tuning in to the 2022 Season, which is by far the biggest season I have ever produced on that channel. I mentioned this in the after video commentary but this is also going to be the last season on this channel. Going forward, videos will no longer include “2K22 EP” in the video title. We are officially entering a new era here on the InterstateKyle channel. While I don’t plan on stopping my usual road videos, you guys will see a lot more vlogs and travel videos going forward. I’ll be perfectly honest this 2022 season really just made me realize that driving 10-12 hours a day filming road videos really can be tiring and a lot of times things that I wanted to see and do have to be scrapped because of the really long drives. I love sightseeing on my road trips and over the last year I’ve been doing a lot more of that and have been generally happier slowing down and actually taking in the sights of all the places that I’ve been traveling too, rather than just driving all day long. I hope you all will be looking forward to this new era coming to my channel in the future. I would also like to take this time to thank everyone for reaching the incredible milestone of 20,000 subscribers, that is just amazing and couldn’t have come at a better time. Be on the lookout in the next week or so of a nearly two hour long video of my grandpa and I’s road trip that we did earlier this year, it is by far the longest video I’ve ever done and I can’t wait for you guys to see it. Once again, thank you so much for tuning into this amazing season and I can’t thank you enough for helping reach 20,000 subscribers. You guys are amazing and I’m beyond thankful for your support through all these years.

Yeah, I used to just mostly drive for the whole day but over time, I've tried to minimize that and actually stop at places along the way, and even stay in one city or whatever for more than one day so I could actually explore the city and see all the sights. I did that last year when I was doing a roadtrip on the east coast; I stayed in Boston, NYC, and DC for two nights. TBH, it was kinda nice to have a break from driving for a day and I could take the subway/metro into the city from a hotel in the suburbs. (I hate driving in dense urban areas, so it's nice to not have to deal with that)

Welcome to a drive-through of Boise City. A few years before you came through the Port To Plains bypass was finished and readjusted the road connections and dropped the through town traffic from 1000-2000 semi’s per 24 hours. The courthouse square and traffic circle is a right turn only and where six roads and highways joined. Watching 135 foot wind turbine blades get maneuvered through there was quite the production sometimes. Cimarron county, about half the population lives in Boise City. Sparse, ranches abound, the end of the power grid, literally. Best people you’ll ever meet. Winter bad weather if they close the roads there can be 400 stranded. Churches and people do take them in, shelter, beds, meals, we take our guests in. Boise City was founded in 1907. Hope you can get time to come visit us again.

In Sept. 2021, I drove from Amarillo to Wyoming on Hwy. 287, and man you could see forever. The most exciting part of that trip was seeing the wind turbines 10 miles away.

Kyle got absolutely smart by waiting out a rainstorm in Boise City, Cimarron County, Oklahoma. By doing so, Kyle had avoided getting himself involved in a serious automobile collision 😀😀😀😀😀.

Bravo Zulu! (That's Navy talk for "Well done!" It'll be a good thing to see what's on the road as for stops (If you're back on I-40? Petrified Forest NP, for example; CA 99 in Central CA? The Forrestire Underground Gardens in Fresno, or Castle Air Museum in Atwater: just throwing out ideas here....Southern AZ? Pima Air Museum in Tucson, and Tombstone, of course!)

Kind of glad the previous video wasn't the final video of the season.
As previous mentioned, this season besides being the longest has some of the most interesting travels you done. Your travels in Texas, Oklahoma, & Western Nebraska were the highlight for me this past season.
As for the announcement, as long as you continue to do your road videos, I'm happy with the path you want to take your YT channel- esp given that other Road Warriors like FreewayJim & FreewayBrent has largely retired from doing new videos. & given the costs of just driving around, I'm not surprised that both men have at least for now gotta off the road. That said, I would recommend TY channel Bigrigtravels. Steve the owner of it is a 16 year veteran trucker who live streams his journey across this the country in his big rig. & ones gets to see the life of these real road warriors who are responsible for making sure that our stores is stocked.
Once again, thanks for "the greatest season ever." & I'll be here for whatever path your channel goes.

This is certainly one of my favorite videos! I always enjoyed driving through the Oklahoma panhandle! It was always on US 54 however. Guymon is definitely one of my favorite small cities in the panhandle! Boise City looks like another nice small town for a very rural county in the panhandle as well! Yep this drive brings back lots of pleasant memories driving through the other plains States! Hope you have a great week ahead! You’re one of the best! Always with full respect! Mark in Iowa.
