Hi. I cleaned the cartridge pins with alcohol cleaner after i cleaned it i tried to run the printer but i didn't recognize the cartridge i didn't do you mothons yet but i broke the cartridge or not?
Thanks very much for your detailed step by step tutorial. My HP 3630 show "cartridge undetected" only for the black ink cartridge. Have tried the methods but sadly I'm still stuck. Can I ask if there is a test you know of, that could detect other problems such as, print carriage head failure? Thanks!
Hi, have you tried the third method? 1. Turn off the printer, then unplug the power cable 2. Take out all the cartridges, wait a moment, then reinstall all the cartridges 3. Plug in the power cable 4. Press and hold the STOP button 5. While holding the STOP button, press and hold the POWER button 6. Hold both buttons for 10 seconds until the ink light stops flashing.
@@SISCHANNEL_NEW Hi Sir, thanks for quick reply! Yes, did try what you just suggested, as well as cleaning and the other methods. Maybe I got unlucky with this one; I am now looking at print head replacement, not the cheapest fix but willing to give it a try for the sake of getting some more service out of this already old printer, and save some plastic pollution going to the landfills 😁
