I worked in a music store for a couple of years and also a camera shop. When I watch your videos I have to admire your excellent communication/demonstrations skills. I wish I had seen these back then so I could have applied your style to my own salesmanship. Really nicely done!!!!
You should just treat everyone this way any way, sales or not.
Sorry, our dealer agreement with Yamaha prohibits us from shipping orders outside the United States. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

@Lalairu
Yes, I think the Yamaha NPV60 and NPV80 are nice entry-level keyboards that give you a lot of features and sounds for the money. Feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

Hi,
You'll need to use the headphone output of the NPV80. This gives great sound quality, in fact it's how I recorded this video. Keep in mind that when you connect to the headphone jack, you'll mute the on-board speakers. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

Yes, you can plug the NPV80 or NPV60 into any sound system by using the headphone output. You'll just need the correct adapter/cable. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

I had the exact same keyboard in my country! I was in love with it's work!
Hi,
Thanks for your interest in Kraft Music and the Yamaha NPV80 and NPV60. These instruments do not feature a fully weighted key action, but they do have a graded semi weighted feel. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

I don't speak Spanish, but I can get the meaning of most what you're asking. I'll take my best guess and answer in English. 1. The NPV80 features a USB to host port (for connecting to a computer) and a USB to device port (for connecting to a flash drive). The NPV60 only has the host port. 2. You will find 3 different accordion sounds in the NPV. 3. Released in 2010. 4. No internal storage 5. Yes, you can record.
Thanks for watching!

Thanks for your interest. The NPV80 and NPV60 do not have weighted keys. You'd probably want to look at Yamaha's P95 digital piano or, for an upgraded action, the P155 digital piano. Feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

I love this video clip , it was really helpful when i decided to buy a keyboard.
I just love my new npv60.
Yes, there is a USB to host port on the back of the instrument. You can use this port to send MIDI data from your NPV to your computer. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

You have a soothing voice. Nice.
Thanks for the vid.
@MotownRockinroller I own a dgx 305 and am researching keyboards for a student ...
your information is very helpful..thank a lot.
@ickomusic
No, the Piagerros do not have weighted keys. They use what Yamaha calls a semi-weighted feel, closer to a synth or an organ. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

Hi,
I think the extra sounds and features of the NPV80/NPV60 make it well worth the extra money. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions.

Glad you enjoyed our video demo. The audio was not treated or processed, just straight out of the NPV headphone jack into the camera. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

The NPV80 and NPV60 do not have weighted keys. Yamaha calls it a "Graded Soft Touch" action…it's really a softer semi weighted feel. Slightly better than a non-weighted portable keyboard. Feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

Yes, you are correct. the NPV80 features the Arpeggio function, and the NPV60 does not. The NPV60 and NPV80 have the same capability for touch response settings, but the NPV60 has a dedicated button to change the touch response. To change touch response in the NPV80, you just have to enter the main menu. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

Hi,
I think you're asking if the keys are velocity or touch sensitive. The answer is yes...the harder you hit the keys, the louder the sound will be. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

Very good presentation !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks
Thanks for your interest. I would say the sound quality on the NPV80 would be pretty comparable to the DGX640. These are both considered portable keyboards with a wide variety of sounds. If you're primarily a piano player and would like a weighted key action, the DGX640 would be a good choice. Otherwise, I'd go with the NPV80 for it's light weight and portability. Thanks for watching!

Yes, these models are all similar...just with more sounds and features as you move up the line. The NPV60 would be a good place to start...plenty of features, and still quite affordable. Feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

Hi,
Thanks for your interest. Just a few small differences between the two. The NPV80 has a few additional sounds and rhythms. Also, the NPV80 has simulated wood end caps that give the keyboard a little nicer appearance. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

@LaikanitaX3
Hi,
The NPV80 and NPV60 are very similar instruments. The NPV80 has a few more sounds, on-board arpeggiator, and simulated wood end caps. Feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

This looks perfect for me. I am going to Dawson's to look at one
Yes, it's a "Graded Soft Touch" action on the NPV80, so the non-weighted action gets progressively stronger as you move down the keyboard. If you are accustomed to the feeling of a piano, you would probably want an instrument with weighted keys.

I would love this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I want to buy one cause it's cheap and very attractive ! But at 0:50 the sound is very perfect, does it really sound like that ? How did you connect it with your computer for have such a great sound?
@kraftmusic Thanks so much! :D
I love this keyboard :)
Thanks Dave
I'm primarily an acoustic piano player, and am moving out of home soon and need something to take with me.
Most important is the feel and sound of the original piano sound itself, I'm not too concerned or interested in the extra tracks. You said this one does have weighted keys, yes?
Also very important is affordability.
Would you recommend this digital piano, or is there something you feel better?
@kraftmusic can you record with it, like does it have out put jacks so you can go out to your mixer
Yes, the NPV60 also has a USB to host port and can be used as a controller. Thanks!

Great sound. Thanks.
If I want to connect this keyboard to an audio system, so not using the keyboard columns, I have just the phones connector or does the keyboard have other interface? If there's only the phones connector, will I get a "bad" sound output?
I have a question with another yamaha piano keys npv80 you compare? with the MO-8 for example? and quality of the piano which would compare? ... I play jazz and be good the feeling of the keys and piano sounds good buy it!! i from valencia venezuela. thanks
USB to Host is fine but what about the fact I cannot connect it directly to a sound module with standard MIDI connectors. Is there any device (except a PC) that I can use to convert USB signal into the standard MIDI one? I think making the piano cheaper and cheaper they forgot very significant option: users have sound modules that sound much better than Yamaha NP V80. I want to use them with Piaggero. Help!
I have just begun my piano lessons, and since a piano is too expensive for me I'm looking for a keyboard to practice. I think a model with this will be enough for first or second year. Just two questions: does this support sustain pedal? What about staccato notes? Can this simulate them?
thanks my friend for your answer, I really like the npv80 but now I have been researching the yamaha PSR S550B and I believe an excellent keyboard, I would be your opinion of the for and against the psr npv80 and s550b?
and what would you recommend to buy it. Thank you. regards
@kraftmusic Thanks Dave!!! Your answers here have been of great help. I think I will choose this keyboard but just to make sure, I'm not a professional, just want a keyboard to have fun but at the same time, one that gives me some sound quality. With this in mind, is there any other option that would do the same or similar? Before this one, I saw the Yamaha NP-31 that is 95€ cheaper. Is the difference worth? Thanks again!!!
Hi, do you do do international delivery, to UK, I been to your website, you have very good cheap prices and good package deals which the UK don't offer?
If you don't would you consider, shipping it the UK for extra S&H fees.
@DexterStrangeways Thanks Dave. Just to double check does the NPV'60' work as a MIDI controller.
Many Thanks
Hello my question is if this keyboard midi tracks playing from a normal pen drive USB port
I'm looking to start my 8 year old in piano lessons. I dont want to invest too much just yet, so I'm looking at the NP31, NPV 60 and NPV80. Are they all the same, just with more features/sounds? Is there one you would suggest starting with?
Thanks.
hello! i'm a guitarist but i recently decided to start playing the keyboard and i thought buying the yamaha npv60 is a good idea. can you guys help me here? i need multiple effects such as drums, voices, strings, etc... and i also need something not very heavy. i would appreciate if you guys told me exactly what the features of this keyboard are and if it has what i expect :) thanks!
This keyboard sounds great! I have a few questions, though.
Would you consider using this keyboard on a live gig? I currently use a full-size 88 key weighted synth that is becoming too cumbersome to haul around. I'm looking for realistic acoustic piano sounds, electric pianos, strings, organs, etc.
Also, how does this compare to the YPG series keyboards? Until stumbling upon this keyboard I was considering the YPG-235. Now I'm completely undecided!
Thanks!!!
Jim
@pterodactilo
Hi,
Thanks for your interest. I would say the Piagerro would be a good student model, although it does not have weighted keys. You'll have many sounds and features to play with. It does support a sustain pedal and will respond to staccato notes. Please feel to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

hey man i think this is sounds realy amazing but i have a choice bettween this piano and the yamaha NP30 which is better as sound and perfomence? please answer me :D thnx :D
Hi, can this be used as a USB Midi controller for instant use in e.g. Cubase SX on the PC?
Ive noticed you've said this keyboard can be used as a MIDI controller, today i got the NPV80 and i can't find any MIDI in/out ports. How can i record music as MIDI data to my computer? Thanks
@kraftmusic Thanks for the reply. The keys on the NP-V80 are Graded, but not weighted. Is that right? And also could I ask for your personal opinion on the two. Thanks, much appreciated.
I want to buy a keyboard, maybe, next year and I don't want to pay a lot of money. Do you think that it's worth buying the yamaha?
Hello! i have a question...
is it possible to let the sound of the piano come out of other boxes...
I dont really know how to explain..
that you can put something in the piano so the sound comes out the sound system we have at home...
do you understand what i mean? and if you do, please answer!
xx
Hi Dave, yes the NPV80 is great... for me, it's more the weight and portability for gigs rather than my old Roland which I'm hanging on to because it has REAL midi out. Has anyone in the music world been able to produce a gadget that can plug in and convert the USB 'midi out' to an old fashioned midi out... I need my modules for better Hammond sounds! Bye for now
Hello ! Could you please tell me , the sound of the grand piano that your using in the video its from the np-v80. It sounds the same in the np-v60 ? Thank you, and waiting for your answer!
Hi Dave,
Can I use this keyboard as a controller for my soft synths?
How does the NPV60/80 compare to the YPG series keyboards? Would you use the NPV on a live gig?
dave got a big question i play keyboard but naver had lessons,,, but i wan't to buy the piaggero npv80 yesterday i went to a music sop and played on it :) it kost in belguim €440 and when i went back home my mother called me and she said that her oncel knows a place in germany where the keyboards are for the half price because new mod els are in that shop,,, he knows aloth of that but if it are keyboard about 900€ mu maximum buget is 500€ what do i got to do?? :s
i'm confused of buying this yamaha NPv60 or80 and YAMAHA NP30 which has a better touch and grand piano voice ?
please answer me fast to take the decision :D thnx
It was enough to exchange voice and his return has to be returned as before.The database has only 8 banks of 4 memory: 4 x 8 to 32 sounds. The Peaggero has 350 sounds useless because they are too low.
How to solve this issue? You know?
Thanks for your help, whatever. Hugs.
Alfredo
So.. I am going to buy a keyboard. I've never played keyboard before, but have played guitar for 5 years. Whats the difference between the npv60 and npv80? and is it a good keyboard for beginners? I have played some piano.. But thats only the standard chords, so i am pretty noob.. :/
@zephirusvideos I watched a billion videos, and I read a hundred reviews, so could you tell me, does it have WEIGHTED KEYS? :D thanks
hi, i would like to buy one of these...
Which is actually the difference between these two?
because there is a difference of money...
I would like to have an answer as quickly as possible.
Thank you!
Could you please tell me what the difference is between the NP-V80 and the DGX-230? Thanks :D
@kraftmusic
You'o answero that'o veryo good'o!
Hi i have a quick question:
Is this keyboard weighted key ?
thanks
bye
EVERYONE is talking about the USB to device, but NOBODY is talking about the USB to host... Please, tell me : Can I record from the "usb-to-host" to my computer ?
Does someone know what´s the difference between NPV80 and NPV60?
Also, which one is better or which one you preffer?
Thanks! :D
What was the first song were you playing at 1:00?
Hi, can I put more sounds on this keyboard via MIDI or USB?
@kraftmusic can you offer me a keyboard, that is close to a workstation with weighted keys, around 500-600 eur? Thanks
@kraftmusic and V80 has USB - to device...
Good afternoon. I wanted to get advice on these keys. In particular - when there is a MIDI file playback from USB drive can not remove the volume of the keyboard to not hear me play on them. Called for a firm can not answer for 3 months! Thank you. And anyway .. to the key instruction very bad ... no nuances settings.
The demonstration neglected to tell us what kind of weighted keys it has...
does the both keyboards has touch sensitive
can you tune down a half step.
que bien suena
Could add song or change sound on this keyboard
Hey, just wondering if anyone knows what kind of cable to use in order to connect the NPV60 to a mac in order to record through MIDI?
thanks :)
are the piano sounds the same as on the np 31?
Hello can you tell me that is yamaha np32 available in india?
He reminds me of Bear in the Big Blue House haha. But great video!
What music rest are you using? I own an NPV60 without a music rest, and can't find one to buy anywhere!!
+Hayley Andrews
I think Yamaha ZC352310 or ZC352510 music rest is compatible with NPV60.
Thanks for your feedback. I haven't seen a USB to MIDI converter...but I have to think someone will develop one soon. With so many newer keyboards losing their MIDI ports in exchange for USB, it seems like a necessity.
