Me too. I was obsessed. I was very young when I watched this contest. Eurovision opened my eyes to other cultures. This song was just so magical and unlike anything I had heard or saw before.
I was 14 back then and I remember I had secretly voted for this song through my moms phone lol. And I've never forgot this song. It was truly underrated.
I was 15 and I remember also voting from my new flip phone haha. Greetings from Latvia, ethnic music is the best thing that Eurpvision surprises us with every year
Gabriela Piechowicz yes, maybe not ever, but worst of Georgia. Worst song ever is "Euro neuro". He sounds like an old fart and like he has serious constipation. And worst winner ever is Lena. No music and no voice. Real winner of 2010 is Denmark because it mixes "Simply the best" and a song everyone uses samples of and has the most covers (which is "Every breath you take"). 2nd place is Albania and 3rd is Manga. These are true 3 places. Maybe there was something in the past. For sure true winner of 1968 is "Congratulations" (should have won then because of songs title), biggest crime ever. And i still cry over Greece 2001 (which is a true winner of that year. Or maybe third after France and Slovenia) and "Lane moje" (could also be Toshe Peace Be Upon Him, Belgium or Croatia). And 2015. Its only and real winner is "Grande amore". I love Mans and consider him handsome and cute but he should have given his victory to Italy. 2012 could be Estonia or Russia (which is our "Slavic girls" 50 years later).
It’s the best ever Eurovision song in my opinion. Why it didn’t do better is unfathomable. Brilliant gutsy performance and a total banger of a tune. It’s a song we still regularly go back to listen to, despite only seeming to be available on RUclips. I wish it was released on single/available to stream.
I visited Sakartvelo a few years ago and now I have a tattoo of Kartlis Deda on my leg. A truly unforgettable country and amazing people. Love from Serbia!
I even hear some Nine Inch Nails' "Perfect Drug" vibes... and then you have the the traditional Georgian percussion, and the Whitney Houston level vocals. Definitely one of my all time favorite Eurovision songs.
It sounds incredible many years after. I remember that it felt like a breath of fresh air in the sea of shitty europop or cheesy ballads and it was so exciting. What a song, what a performance.
Agreed. Most pop songs are almost always about love and peace, but Georgia breaks that mold and seldom sends in songs of that genre. They should become a role model for countries that often sends generic pop songs to Eurovision.
After 14 yrs I'm still listening to visionary dream 🧡 It sounds so mystical and extraordinary 🤩 Her voice is so beautiful and performance was just amazing with traditional (Instrumental and dance) elements.. Our debut was truly the best entry and we deserved to win evrovison 2007! It's so sad and unfair that we couldn't..Sopho u're just amazing✨ I wish u the best of luck and success💫 Georgia is proud of you 💛
Best Georgian entry in the history of Eurovision! I was 10 back then and this one is still one of my favourites Eurovision songs! Greetings from Bulgaria!
Eurovision needs more songs like this one... Eurovision needs REAL modern songs!!! Congrats Georgia!!! One of the best Eurovision debuts of all time!!!
Voted for her. We kinda sorta knew our song would win and I wanted stuff I really likes from other countries to place high. ❤❤❤ Love this song to this very day.
I remember this song. It really stood out for me and back in the day I sang on top of my lungs to it. I love it. Georgia is so underrated in the esc history. Greetings from a german dude.
I have never felt so connected to a song as this - I listen to it to get me in a hopeful and positive mood! Performance too, her positive energy, the choreography of the dancers (even their expressions), the orchestral background mixed with trip hop is SO FRIGGIN GOOOOD. Sopho if you are reading this thank you for being an absolute beam of light!
Brilliant debut from Georgia, since then they've always sent something different every year! best bit of this song is when the deep beat kicks in and tempo suddenly changes, ace vocals from Sopho too.
This song revolutionized music in our subconciousness and shaped the way music grew thereafter without anyone knowing where they got their inspiration from. This is an illogical masterpieace - as someone said.
Probably the best debut entry ever, wish that Georgia could get back up to this quality in the 2020s. I still appreciate that they send something unique, but it'd be nice for them to send something like this again! On the whole though, Georgia is a beautiful country and I'd really like to visit there one day! And hoping they'll finally qualify again because (as of November 2022 when I write this), they haven't qualified since 2016. Love Georgia from the UK 🇬🇪🇬🇧!
My Top 3 Caucasian debuts 3. 🇦🇲Armenia (my 28/37 in 2006) That's generic for me 2. 🇦🇿Azerbaijan (my 10/43 in 2008) Mugham and opera combination, very epic! *1. 🇬🇪Georgia (my 5/42 in 2007)* That's shows the culture of this nation, the sword dance is the best part of this!
First year I watched Eurovision at full, and this song's background on stage made me stick into it (as first glance). I still can't imagine how incredible Georgia's debout is.
It's 2024 and it's so easy to image this song again on the stage. What a timeless piece!
OMG yes. I looooooove this song and the style
Yes, I will love this forever.😊
Totally agree! When in came up in the clip before Georgias entry this year I screamed!!! I love this song. So edgy even now.
if the contest ever gets held in georgia, they BETTER play this as the interval act
We want this on Spotify please! 🇬🇪
yeesss!
The world wasn't ready for this masterpiece back then, but I was. I've been mesmerized by this for over 12 years and counting.
Same
Me too. I return to this song and this performance again and again through the years. It’s spine tingling.
I agree, this gets better and better! 😃
Lol lovely comment! :D
Me too. I was obsessed. I was very young when I watched this contest. Eurovision opened my eyes to other cultures. This song was just so magical and unlike anything I had heard or saw before.
This song was so ahead of its time. Nowadays it would be in the top 5, if not win. But then again, 2007 was an insanely stacked year.
i agree
I'll never forget this hidden gem.
This song has aged so incredibly well.
Just like Georgian wine
because avant-garde arts and performances never get old…
I was 14 back then and I remember I had secretly voted for this song through my moms phone lol. And I've never forgot this song. It was truly underrated.
So sexy and energizing... I always keep coming back to this. This and Serebro's "my bad ass is spinning for you".
I was 15 and I remember also voting from my new flip phone haha. Greetings from Latvia, ethnic music is the best thing that Eurpvision surprises us with every year
I NEED THIS ON SPOTIFY TO REPEAT ALL DAY
THIS
YES
YES HONESTLY I WILL REPEAT IT SO MUCH SOPHO COULD LITERALLY PAY HER TAXES WITH IT
YES
i think you can find some remix
She traveled back in time, from Eurovision 3007 to Helsinki 2007. This is the best georgian entry eeeever.
i couldnt agree more. one of the best entry in this century
Funny how some songs become classics without getting an impressive result.
This is a debut entry
This is one of the best in history of eurovision. So unique
Georgia's best entry definitely! This would deserve the win in our days!! Georgia is for sure the most unique country in ESC!
This is their debut
This song is an underrated masterpiece. Georgia debuted with an amazing song and has sent fantastic (but always underrated) entries ever since!
Besides 2012.
Christian Fischer And 2014
George Austin Tay 2014 was worst song ever. Borint as hell. And 2016 first was good but later it went monotonic and annoying
Aziza Alkan worst ever? not really, there were worse, even the winning ones from the past!
Gabriela Piechowicz yes, maybe not ever, but worst of Georgia. Worst song ever is "Euro neuro". He sounds like an old fart and like he has serious constipation. And worst winner ever is Lena. Georgian were doing their own things since their first appearance.
An absolute gem ❤❤ CLASS
This was my introduction to Georgia as a teen. Who would’ve known 9 years later I was going to be backpacking across this beautiful country.
Damn, that is an amazing story bro. 😎
❤️
Georgia really need to come back with something like this...
agree100%
Yes im agree
One of the best if not the best debuts at the contest.
Molitva !!
Most underrated song of the ESC ever. I still listen to this. It's sosososo good! I just couldn't believe how little votes it got during the contest.
This is probably my favorite Eurovision song EVER.
One of the best Eurovision entries of all times in an iconic year.
One of the most underrated songs in Eurovision history. If this was representing Georgia in 2017, it would still do really well!! :D
16 years pasted and it still gives me goose bumps, such a great song!
Me too

😲🥰👍❤️🇬🇪
This is one of the best songs all time in ESC. It's like Björk mixed up with Madonna.
I think it sounds like a mashup of ray of light, hyperballad and unfinished sympathy lol
I even hear some Nine Inch Nails' "Perfect Drug" vibes... and then you have the the traditional Georgian percussion,
and the Whitney Houston level vocals. Definitely one of my all time favorite Eurovision songs.
It's like world music with ethnic Georgian elements mixed with experimental pop + power vocals.
Björk actually wrote a song for Madonna
Actually the first time that i heard it reminded me Bjork a lot
This song is both odd and mystical at the same time.
One of the most awesome song that I heard in the ESC though.
You just wrote what I've been saying since that year!!!! This is still on my ipod...... Still gives me shivers! My greatest arrangement ever!!!!
This song should have Georgia’s best results, deserved top 5, but was ahead of it’s time
(Edit) but what a debute! Georgia started so strong
2022 and this is still one of the most stunning, hypnotic, psychedelic experiences of my life.
Russia, Poland, and Georgia are all nations whose debuts were their best entries ever!
2024 and still gives me goosebumps. Masterpiece
An extraordinary debut. Traditional, gripping and gloriously catchy. One of the best songs of 2007, and certainly my favorite!
@@yudhistiramahasena1255 dang now I'm thinking of the generic pop countries, i guess Ireland, Sweden, Azerbaijan and maybe Serbia?
@@beetrootsoup3130 Denmark, Norway, Sweden for sure

I couldn't agree with you more.
I remember being totally hypnotized by this song the first time I heard it, still one of my eurovision favourites.
One of the best and unique Songs ever at Eurovision
The vocals, the music, the presentation, the swords, SO GOOD
She looks so psyched to be there, I love it
It's nice that she invited Eurovision into his dream.
For me this is one of the best songs that ever appeared on Eurovision. Or The best.
SOPHO FOR GEORGIA 2024
Wow! Outstanding performance even in 2021! I will never forget! LITHUANIA gave 12 points! ❤️
This and the Britpop group are still Georgia’s best ever Eurovision entries 🇬🇪
Iconic avant-garde music!!
Still remember this one after 14 years. Really good stuff.
One of the best eurovision songs.
still one of the best entries to ever compete on the esc. aged like fine wine.
Man this deserved top 5. JUST AMAZING
Still listening to this amazing song, one of the best in the last 2 decades!
Fellow German agreeing, other great georgian performance that comes to mind is Eldrine 2011
georgia on eurovision resembles country so much it`s both amazing and underrated just like the country itself.
Still my favoruite Georgian entry and one of my favourite of all time - I loooooove the energy
One of the best ESC songs ever... So catching!
Genialne wykonanie - przegenialnej piosenki ❤❤❤
2023 still loving this song!
This the best georgian entry ever
I have never felt so connected to a song as this - I listen to it to get me in a hopeful and positive mood! This song is still on my list, and it's one of my favorite Eurovision songs ever. Thank you for this masterpiece. Hug from Bosnia&Herzegovina
❤
Ahead of its time - genius and still my favourite ever Eurovision entry
My winner in 2007. What a powerful performance of Sopho! Extravagant.Far beyond Eurovison Lalala. The crowd loved her...and I still do.
Brilliant debut from Georgia, since then they've always sent something different every year! best bit of this song is when the deep beat kicks in and tempo suddenly changes, ace vocals from Sopho too.
The best Georgia entry ever 🇬🇪 I’m from Azerbaijan and I still feel this song in my Caucasian blood. So good!!!!!!!
Usually I’m not a big fan of Georgian entries, but this one is a pure art. My 2nd of 2007.
Epic entry, such a strong debut which made me fall in love with this beautiful country. Didi madloba, Sakartvelo, for such a great song. ❤
Perfection! What a vocal! She is a truly amazing singer!
This song revolutionized music in our subconciousness and shaped the way music grew thereafter without anyone knowing where they got their inspiration from.
This is an illogical masterpieace - as someone said.
I’m 27 now and I still think this song is the best in the history of Eurovision.
Best. Debut. Ever. Period.
Should have won.
One of my ultimate favourites. Absolutely stunning!
This song was so ahead of its time. It’s very deep and powerful
It's giving Björk and Madonna's Ray of Light
Hands down this is the best Georgian entry
So epic and Caucasian ❤️
Probably the best debut entry ever, wish that Georgia could get back up to this quality in the 2020s. I still appreciate that they send something unique, but it'd be nice for them to send something like this again!
On the whole though, Georgia is a beautiful country and I'd really like to visit there one day! And hoping they'll finally qualify again because (as of November 2022 when I write this), they haven't qualified since 2016. Love Georgia from the UK 🇬🇪🇬🇧!
RIP, this year they really tried and still failed... so unfair
Hopefully, Nutsa will end this bad streak in 2024! 🤞
My favorite Georgian entry. Love the Traditional Georgian dance!! Kisses from Israel!
I think I’ve singlehandedly contributed over 100 vies bc I’ve had this video on repeat a lot!!
Same...
Pretty sure this is my all time eurovision favorite, probablly listened to it at least once a month since 2007.
This still smacks hard
Georgia’s first and my favourite Georgian Eurovision song!♥️
That was a masterpiece, I'm still under the effect of this song. Love from Turkey

Also: That's how you write a song!
@@aleksanderpagels288 akkurat!
2024 still amazing song, one of the best eurovision song ever.
Greetings from Poland ❤
Georgia's debut I think was the best among every country. This is my 3º in ESC history after Rändajad & Here for You
And still listening to it after 10 years
excellent taste
2007 is a fantastic eurovision year, this song is so cool !!!
Ah, Georgia's debut in ESC. This was very different than the other songs. Such a creative performance. Why this didn't end up in the TOP 10?
Because 2007 was too early for this song :( In 2016 this would be top 5
Flavius 97 Because her singing was poor.
As if anyone cared about that, look at Frans last year
Flavius 97 salut
She's in 12th place, nearly get to top 10
Man, I can't believe just how underrated this gorgeous entry is! It's my winner from 2007, it's so, so good
It was mine to! 😎👍
so epic...from an other world....i still remember it.....the real winner
Among the Caucasian countries Georgia had the best debut!
Bartłomiej Podstawka Music *Armenia wants to know your location*
Have you guys ever seen Azerbaijan's debut?
in terms of results, georgia is the worst caucasian country. but their debut was the best out of the 3
Azerbaijan wants to know your location
My Top 3 Caucasian debuts
3. 🇦🇲Armenia (my 28/37 in 2006)
That's generic for me
2. 🇦🇿Azerbaijan (my 10/43 in 2008)
Mugham and opera combination, very epic!
*1. 🇬🇪Georgia (my 5/42 in 2007)*
That's shows the culture of this nation, the sword dance is the best part of this!
2024. Я до сих пор помню этот номер. Восхитительно.

My favorite of 2007!! And still the best entry georgia to this date has sended
Fun fact: This is the song that inspired the name of a Eurovision news portal - EuroVisionary.
