Thanks for doing the Ute justice. I'm a car guy and love these kind of short form doco's. That was really well made! I saw both Ryan Was and IWrocker do reactions just this week, clearly the short form works well for reactions
@@thecardocexplains Please tell me you have another video in the works, I was disappointed when I saw this is your only video on this channel and it was 10 months old
Mate awesome job, liked and subbed, I can't believe you are only at 30 subs, but everyone starts somewhere.. You have a style like the huge channels, I guess one day I can say I was here when he had bugger all subs, again, nicely done
Nice video dude! Coming from a Ford Falcon Ute owner I'm a little bummed you only mention HSV but Not FPV - Ford's Equivalent 🥺, The FPV Super Pursuit ute is a weapon!
Chrysler Australia made Valiant utes from 1965 but had been making utes from the 30's with Chrysler, De Soto, Dodge and Plymouth versions. There was also British utes made in Australia.
1:02 And that picture shows the difference between a Ute and a pick-up. The unibody, car-like design of the ute vs the separate rear tray on a pick-up (they have a separate panel behind the B pillar).
As the owner of a v8 Dodge Dakota, I feel we are very much in the spirit of Aussie utes, no to mention I've been blessed with "Golden" aboriginal blood; which is fair to say I've shat a big blood log upon getting a blood transfer. While I'm by no means Australian living in the States, the spirit if the Hell Camino lives on as neither truck nor car and Oz mourns the loss of the Hilux while American behemoths flood the market

Sooo an El Camino?
The future of utes is Hyundai Santa cruz, Ford Maverick and Honda Ridgeline. All car based utes. Not full size pick up trucks.
Dude, make more video's. This is an excellent production but you ain't gonna grow the channel with just one video!!!!
