Those little fledglings at 17.00!!! SO lovely. I love Northumberland and the images on this video are truly lovely. The rain does not matter in the least when you have such super countryside around you to explore in your car! And what pretty towns and villages. Thanks so much.

I agree, the rain didn't bother us at all. There were so many birds nesting in the walls of the church but those little four were a treat to see.

Such as gorgeous part of the world. So lush and green. Isn't it interesting that old buildings can still be standing hundreds of years later, all hand built with expert workmanship that we just do not see today. Todays builds may last one life time if you are lucky but these buildings have lasted many, many generations! So lovely to see Humphrey enjoying the 'summer' holiday. Thank you for sharing your travels 👣

Our summer has been mild, so everything looks extra lush and green this year. The buildings are awe-inspiring...even the small humble ones have so much charm and character. We had a lovely holiday!

What a beautiful trip! But I have to say you have made your home quite beautiful, some of the outdoor spaces on your trp just didn't compare to your garden at home.

Thank you so much for taking us all along with you to Northumberland! It is such an underrated UK holiday destination and just so beautiful and stunning. I always enjoy a staycation as there are so many lovely places to visit here in the UK. I could happily live on Lindisfarne away from all the bustle and noise of everyday life. As a knitter myself I bet the wool shop was a wonderful find. I hope everyone had a relaxing and chilled time. Enjoy the rest of the weekend, Sophie.

It always blows my mind when you walk around these castles and historic buildings. I imagine the footsteps of all the people that have troden there and the somtimes awful battles and invasions that the peoples of days gone by had to endure ! Huge fan of last kingdom, so seeing the castle and area it was based around was fantastic. I must make that journey myself one day. Love your videos, thanks for sharing

I've also often wondered who built this architectural splendor? Who created this incredibly thoughtful beauty of buildings? People on carts and horses with axes? It's ridiculous. We do not know much. Thank you for your beautiful and necessary videos, in which there is something to learn. God bless you.

I’ve loved this Summer, everything is so lush and green and the wildflowers have been amazing. Since we all got locked in a few years ago, I have no desire to go abroad. @BoundaryRoad  14 дней назад

Thank you! The breakfast was made with a standard pancake recipe. The only pan they had was a very scratched-up teflon one, which I didn't want to use. I heated some butter in the dish first for 15 minutes and then poured all of the pancake batter into it. I think it took about 20 minutes to be ready. Sorry not to have a recipe for you - I was improvising 😊

I was inspired by those too and have already investigated :-) From what I've seen/read they are made from a thick worsted cotton. I'm going to try a 12-ply and see how that turns out.
