Though the officers know how their subordinates gel with 3rd party vendors/non technical staff/helpers (not on rolls), they do not stand for honesty fearing job loss. We drivers too fear officers as they have power to fail fc or any rto work, so align to this. But we CURSE not just the officers but also thier family secretly. Why i curse their family? Because thier family members too enjoy corruption money, hence they too are sinners. In Hinduism, karma concept has high position. I have lmv badge from 2007 from Bangalore, and keep suffering from one or the other rto staff for any rto work. The top rto officers are extremely busy, often attends other districts rto, saying shortage of staff, deputation etc, but do not srongly stop indirect corruption.
Very informative. I just have a doubt, does the owner need to be present for rc renewal for 2 wheelers? I have a 2 wheeler for which my brother is the owner he is out of town and vehicle rc renewal is pending. Pls help
