As an auto glass technician for 15 years, its not the rocks coming from the tires. The windshield sits so upright that it just catches rocks or debris from other traffic much easier than most vehicles. Same goes for the Wrangler, FJ cruiser and G wagon. Best to get glass warranty from dealership or insurance company. I replace these windshields way more than others. Just FYI. I love the review and the vehicle none the less. Such a sweet ride!
This video posted 4 months ago. Jump to now, I just bought a 2023 Badlands Sasquatch with a hard top. It was used had 950 miles on it. Didn't realize how lucky I was.
Great review. We have our ‘24 badlands Sasquatch 4 door with the lux package on order. No dealers anywhere in my state had one ready to go. Was told 3-6 month wait time. Cannot wait to get it!
So how long did it take you to get it after the order date? Curious cause I ordered a 2024 badlands sasquatch with lux package, both tops and leather trim. I can't go 10 minutes without thinking about it lol
There's no way a bronco throws rocks at it's own windshield. Not physically possible. Those tires will chuck rocks at the sides of your car, though. The windshield cracks are caused by rocks through by the traffic in front of you.
I've drove trucks with mud tires for 25 yrs and I can tell you that you can in fact break your own windshield, I've watched it happen. This thing with its 37 degree approach will certainly throw rocks infront of you.

@@Machinesinmotion01 I’ve had my 2021 Race Red 4 door Badlands with Sasquatch, lux, soft top and more for 18 months now and I also have a 2022 Eruption green base automatic for 8 months now. Love them both! Base model is my favorite.
I've had a Jeep JKU that i built up and later traded. Now i want a Bronco but WOW! Ford misses the mark on towing for the 4 door. 3260 doesn't make it to my offroad camping trailer gvwr. Now I'm trying to decide whether to go for it anyway or go with something else. I've wanted a Bronco since they first announced their release. What to do what to do
I owned a 22 Badlands for 3 months. I liked it but missed having a truck so sold it for a 22 tundra. Overall cool vehicle but lot of little things that I didn’t love. Also feel like I got caught up in the hype of it and the “cool” factor wore off fast. But still a nice vehicle , didn’t have any issues in the 3 months
@@trav22trex21 Did you personally order and receive one? Or just going off the videos? Been thinking about it, but seeing people post that they ordered one a year-plus ago and still haven't received.
Here’s one thing I bet you didn’t know. If you tow the bronco behind an RV at some point, the transmission might fry costing you over $6000 even though the dealer sold it to me understanding it would be towed. Make sure that word gets out. You cannot flat tow these vehicles without the risk of catastrophic failure.
Awesome vid this is the exact same model and color I want .. looking for a good deal.. if I was going to change any of the decals front grill etc I would go black for sure
Thanks, great video and I am waiting for mine. It is supposed to be built starting tomorrow (baring some of the delay horror stories I have read) and I am looking forward to its delivery.
It's impossible for a vehicle to throw rocks at its own windshield 😅. The bronco windshields crack easy due to the angle of the windshield caused by other vehicles on the road kicking up rocks.

I got mud flaps on the front tires only. 2023 Wildtrak squatch softop. don't drive it into your garage with it half back... commenting for a friend. my vote, black bronco emblem. Would have been my most fun car, had I not owned a 2012 Mustang GL Convertible for a decade... It's a great #2 thought :) That other hard top manufacturer... at least you're in California with them... shipping to Texas was another $900 ugh... no thanks.
do not take this the wrong way but you summed up 90% of bronco owners with the " I had to do a little research " about the beadlock wheels. the trails are littered with people in broncos who have NO idea about offroad driving, rules, and Skills. thank you for solidifying that people are willing to get ripped off(willingly take it in the a$$) just to look cool in a mall crawler. Edited because I wanted to really get that take it in the rear point across. ...I mean really take it..so bad that the 800 dollar payment no longer looks "fun" anymore........
Well, my family has enjoyed it over the last year. Been to several national parks and summits. Snow/mud/sand. Also...it does great towing our new additional toy. I need to post some videos to highlight it.

@@jonathan8122 It took about 2.5 months. Ordered it on the website December 1st, 23, and got it February 19th ‘24.
I've owned mine for about a year. The tires really only caught and threw rocks a lot for about the first 1000 miles, then it decreased dramatically.
I got some small velco straps, and strap them to the clip behind the seat to prevent that flapping.
As far as the backseat seat belts would be to attach some velcro strips to the sidewall in order to keep the belts from flapping in the wind… Easy fix

Get an Advance fiberglass concepts hard top. Way better than factory and reduces noise better as well.
$6900

Do you have any regrets about buying it? Would you purchase another one in the future?
The yellow stitching and color throughout is because it's a badlands not cause it's sasquatch, just a heads up

What are your thoughts on the Area 51 color after awhile? I like it but not sure if it’s a color for the long haul - thanks
It grows on me. It looks good in most lights.
Love the color
U can Ppf the front windshield 💪🏾
Nice review and congrats on the Bronco. I would be interested in knowing what your average mpg is with the 2.7 engine. Thanks.
Thanks! I've been averaging about 16.5.
I'm getting 18 combined. Dearborn is in Wayne county that may be why it says both.
I have no problems love mine. No noise no crack windshield. Stop it you wrangler agents 😂
A hard top costs 7k? That's nuts! Question is how much quieter is the hard top vs soft top?
That’s definitely weird, since getting the hard top on the ‘24 we have on order (Badlands Sasquatch 4 door) only cost an extra $2,500.
Chipped windshields are a universal issue for anyone that really take their rig offroad.
Gotcha.
Pretty sure chipped windshields only happen ON road. Rocks getting kicked back on the highway into a boxy windshield = cracks
Thanks a lot! Now I want one!
Just bought one same color with 9500 miles..
Great video man! Thanks!
My Gladiator has a clip for the rear seatbelt so it doesn't flap. My suggestion is to buy a Jeep as the best way to fix that flapping. 😂
