- In the game of car hacking, your exit strategy is equally as important as your entry. The length of time you plan to keep an exotic will play a crucial role in how much money you lose (or gain). By using the formula taught in this video, it will help you predict future car values so you know what a car is worth in the future so you know how much to pay in order to reduce your chances of losing money.

Great advice. Most people prefer to look at shiny object instead of figuring out how shiny objects really work.
So true
Porsche 911 Turbo S. 991 generation. Great video
These videos are really good, not just for cars but for anything having to do with money, investing, etc. People who understand money understand these concepts and use them for everything, not just cars, luxury items, or travel. Another concept that often gets overlooked in this space is regional arbitrage which is a topic that I would love to hear discussed on this channel.
PJ! This question is regarding a couple of the later Ferrari V12s, notably the F12 and 812. I see good examples of the F12s leveling off in the mid 200s while the 812s are another 100k. Question - does the extra $100k (30%) give one that much more? From a depreciation perspective, the F12 makes logical sense with not much risk in the depreciation game but would like to see if you can make a convincing argument for the 812. As always, congrats on the Great content! Caio.
Totally love how you incorporate finance metrics!!
Just got my first hack last week! A 2016 M4 with a manual transmission. I’ll be selling it some time this fall 😁
Congrats!!
You're not a normal Person PJ . You're a Legend
Cheers buddy
Great info.
The Oracle has spoken!!💯.... PJ I humbly request a video on the RR ghost like this 1! Thank you for the knowledge!💯💪
2021 Huracan EVO.
Great video. The wrench is the taxes on your exotic which you got to account for.
Not if you don't have to pay them. My average tax burden across all my cars is ~1%
Thank you! Will you please “hack “ your Pista?
Could you make a video on how you view taxes on an exotic cra hack?

do it on a mid level luxury brand i think it would help the most people.
Do you think Senna will keep or rise in Value? I have a budget of 1 mil, should I get senna or New FGT? Or do you have any other suggestions?
Thank you for the info. like always Great work!!
Love these financial analysis videos
2014 Lamborghini Aventador
Can you car hack a 2019 Amg S63?
Do you pay with cash or credit when doing this? And are you paying in Full or Making payments on in the car/s
Great video! When do you think this current market bubble will pop? Car prices are going up so fast I feel like there has to be a correction at some point.
The dollar is weaker against the cars and foreign money is strong in the market so some will never correct. Watch the video a few back on my channel about this.
PJ, is there anyway to tell how much the dealer bought the car for?
What about engine blown or clutch dies?
Buy the right car and that won't be a problem. Over 150+ cars I've never had a catastrophic failure bc I know (and teach) how not to buy ticking timebombs.
Really liked the video can you show some hack for middle range cars how to hack that market 🤔🤔
Schmee vibes on the intro 😂
can you do the bmw i8 please ?
I’m in the market for a 458, but damn they are way overpriced. I’d sure like some feedback on where to look for one that isn’t. Even the owners on the forums think their made of gold!
PJ, please do this on a 720s, say 2018, lots of carbon.
U funny bro, luv the content!!
never change bro lmaoo
Where’s the senna?
Sold
@@ExoticCarHacks could you make a video why you sold it from your perspective and was it a good investment?
Hey i know you sell your stuff but maybe if you explained how to safe on insurance. I heard alot of people worried about insurance on these cars.
Its in the course, but because of how insurance is calculated it's actually not much different than the insurance on a 30k camry. Insurance should not be a deal breaker for you if you're trying to hack.
Are. C6 an C7 corvettes worth hacking now that there arent being made
Excellent video. Would the same apply to 570S or 12C?
Yep
@@ExoticCarHacks Thank you. Love your videos.
So how do you do this on a first year vehicle like a 2014 Vanquish when there is no 2013 version of that car?
See if there's a difference between 16>15 and 15>14 to determine if the rate of decline is slowing etc. Also, follow the market for more than a year and you'll see where it's trending. I've been looking at them and buying them since 16 so I see every year the changes to list and sell prices. Make sense?
Hello PJ! so what would this look like in an Audi rs7 from 2015 Sportback 4.0 tfsi 560cv Quattro Tiptron with 40k kilometres?
If the same car right now with 100k more kilometres is selling for 10k cheaper? It will be a 10k/year = 833/month.
Would this car go up in value as well?
Thank you for your videos!!
That car will never go up in value, it will only slow its decline.
PJ, how much more do you add for spider? do they hold value better or worse?
Every model is different. Look at the spider version, see where the market is between two years and that'll help draw you a picture
You do not take taxes into the mix in your scenarios. Taxes are lost dollars
Can't lose tax dollars if you know how to legally not pay them
But when you trade it in 1 year, a dealer is going to give you wholesale not retail. so how is it only a 10k margin error?
You don't trade it in. You sell it privately for current Retail.
If you can do a video on the 2008 lamborghini gallardo spyder with less than 25k miles! Or really the first generation.
Is this a joke? You request a video specifically about one old car? WTF?!
But you can’t buy a car at retail and then hope to sell it at retail, surely you are buying at retail in this example and then having to wholesale. So wouldn’t that be a 30k loss ?
You buy a car between retail and wholesale, and then sell it at retail. You can also buy at retial and sell at retail if markets shift up, or buy at wholesale and sell at retail if you buy from private buyer or dealer who wants to dump inventory. It's not a black-and-white market, its a grey one, if you want to drive these cars for free or profit you need to learn how to play in they grey better than other consumers, which is what I teach you
How do you calculate the property tax into the hack?
Different for everyone. I teach strategies for legal loopholes available to reduce tax burden. Trade in tax credits are the most popular option but not available in every state so more advanced strategies might be needed.
@@ExoticCarHacks would it be more beneficial to garage the vehicle in a state like Florida?
@@nate4730Where you store it doesn't affect taxes. Where you register it does. So registering in Florida is great compared to, say, California because of the trade in tax credits but Delaware or Montana can be even better in some instances.
@@ExoticCarHacks that makes sense. Thanks for the quick reply!
JP please lest talk about nasty stuff! (NO WHITE PANTS COMENTS) I'm talking about doing the numbers for the nasty Aventador 2014-2015 or up! Lol.....🤣
He’s being nice. It’s creepy.
I'm 100% sure you can't drive that Ducati
