Last year I reeled in 4 trophy class 10 plus pounds Lingcod off the Oregon Coast while Halibut Fishing in 300 feet of water. FOUR....and I had to release them all!...and never did catch a Halibut! But it was fun and a work out. I feel your pain reeling from the deep! keep up the good work I really enjoy your channel!

Hey man when we pull up fish from deep water and the air bladder is blown up you can actually pop a small hole in it right behind the fin and they can get back down. It supposedly heals back up and they are fine. 😁

Thats hard work sitting down and havin to crank from 300-400ft down with 4lb led and extra weight from a fish, hard enough from a boat deck. I get worn out from just watchin. Electric reel all the way..save your back. Great fishin dude..

I agree, sometimes it’s just not as easy when you have a 4 pound lead and not alot current. These snappers can be spooky for us a lot of times.
