    Prandini is the effin’ BUSINESS on third leg, and I’m now beginning to feel our dream USA 4x1 team should have Gabby on second leg, Prandini on third, and ShaCarri anchoring, with maybe Melissa Jefferson leading off. Simply put, Prandini has been running the heck outta that bend since 2022 and proven she belongs there.

      @@MsJared1994 hard pass. She’s a terrible 100m runner. Jacious sears exists, cambers sturgis 3021 double champ, Melissa 2022 U.S. champ, aleia hobbs, kayla white …pls Abby won’t even make the 200 team

      @@MsJared1994 I think Abby had been amazing on the relay…I am just taking about the absolute best and where they go. I didn’t say her name because Gabby and ShaCarri are faster on the long stretches (straights), Prandini is better on the bend, and Abby isn’t a good starter…she’s a finisher. Gabby could be replaced with Steiner, but I think Gabby will do a better job on the backstretch. It’s kinda funny they put her on third leg, and the bend isn’t her best position, but she’s even amazing on that, as we see! There are many others who will be great on this relay, but just believe the four I mentioned could break the world record.

    Formula Kersee did quite well to get second against a field of 100 specialists.

    • @_MicZ_
      @_MicZ_ Месяц назад +2

      Sure, they did good, but it's not like all the teams had elite athletes at their disposal.
      Besides Sydney, who is obviously not a 100m specialist (but still known to also be fast on the shorter sprints) they had:
      - Morolake Akinosun (100m specialist, won Olympic gold on the 4x100m relay)
      - Jenna Prandini (200m specialist, won Olympic silver and Worlds gold on the 4x100m relay)
      - Keni Harrison (100mH specialist, no 4x100m relay history)
      Lets compare that to the winning team:
      - Dina Asher-Smith (200 and 100m specialist, won Olympic bronze (2x) and Worlds silver (2x) and bronze on the 4x100m relay)
      - Rhasidat Adeleke (400m specialist, no notable 4x100m relay history)
      - Lanae Tava-Thomas (not specialized (yet), best result is 3rd in the 200m at Jamaican Nationals)
      - Julien Alfred (100m specialist, no 4x100m relay history)
      Again, Formula Kersee did good, but they weren't exactly running "against a field of 100 specialists".
