Congrats on the ZR2! I picked mine up a couple months ago (Cumming, GA) and love it. Already taken it offroad on some of the forest service roads up in the mountains and it's been great. You'll love it!
I literally just did the same thing. I live in a rural area outside of Pittsburgh and the only truck I could find within a reasonable area was in Queens, NYC. The dealer did everything over the phone and through email and the sales guy drove the truck 3hrs to meet me halfway and pick up my trade-in. I love the truck and am still astonished that we were able to do everything remotely.
Awesome bro! I too just picked up a ZR2 a couple months ago and am loving it. Its a head turner with its new styling and look. Thing is a beast in the mountains too, and have not had any issues with the turbo 4 banger, plenty of power to get up the mountain. I was not able to get the tech 3 package you did, as like you were saying, hard to find these things with everything you want in it but was able to get most everything else. I was running into the same issues, either already sold and always in transit, sold. Well enjoy and looking forward to see what you do with yours!
I'm just waiting for mine here in Canada, same color as yours! It's been a slog trying to get one here, but the dealership I usually work with has one ordered and it'll hopefully be here the end of this month. Great choice!
It sounds like it has been a pain to get one of these EVERYWHERE! Especially in Sand Dune... congrats and you're going to love it! Are you going to keep it stock or do you plan on doing any mods?
You’ll love the truck - identical to mine. Peanut Butter Falcon is the best color, but I’m biased. 😁 Only mods I’ve done is 35” mudders (they fit with zero mods) & tonneau cover.
@@barryguffey8061 that’s cool man I love watching videos of Moab trips. I wish we had something that popular in Georgia. We do have the Georgia Traverse that people seem to love.
When I took my trade-in to the dealership to pick up my new truck, I made it a point to fill the tank. It was a courtesy to the dealership. Just putting enough gas to barley get to the dealer is pathetic -- IMO, it's no class/cheap-ass.
@@GeorgiaZR2 Well, then I apologize. Sorry for my misunderstanding. BTW, back in 2021 (April) I almost got a new Colorado ZR2 myself...but none were available due to GM's chip-shortage, so they were parked in MO with 20K other Chevy trucks waiting for chips, so I had to bail on it. I ended up getting what I have now -- a Jeep Gladiator (Rubi). Enjoy your new ZR2...it's vastly improved over the 2022 and earlier models, and an even more capable off-road 4x4 than those previous models. For someone looking for a full-size "serious off-road 4x4" truck, the Chevy Silverado ZR2 looks good as well. -- BR
That is sick bro... I waited 6 months for mine. I wanted the Glacier Blue (or that one)... I got it. Traded my 2018 ZR2 for it. I hope you love it as much as I do mine. Congrats!!! Bad Ass truck!!!
6 months?!?! You have WAY more patience than me- thats dope! It was not easy finding one that was "Available". Did you build yours or did you claim one of the "In Transit" ones?
@@GeorgiaZR2 Actually, By chance it was in a truck show in Las Vegas and I went back n forth with the dealer for months. "We have this one and that one" No, I want the blue. Got the call... I said hold it I will be there tomorrow. Keep in mind, this was a WANT not a need. My 2018 was bad ass and paid off. I had plenty of patients to get exactly what I wanted.
Add to that, I really only paid 34K for it because I owned my 2018. They gave me 30k on the trade. And I beat the F out of that truck. 48,000 hard miles on it. I wanted to get a new one before 50K miles. Probably do the same with the 2024. :)

@@DrewJHarrison it’s a long story but I sent them the part they need to create the dashcam for the new Colorados. It was delivered today. They said it will take a couple weeks to get it modeled and made so by the end of the month they should have them. They are sending one to me so I’ll do an install/review video on it.
You won't find a GREAT deal here. Call Joe V Clayton in Arab, AL and ask for Nic. Tell him I sent you and he will set you up or find one for you at a great price. Mine was the cheapest one within 1000 miles that was "Available".
I'm so glad I held out for the sand dune metallic on my ZR2. It was a stroke of luck to find it. I'm sooooo glad!
Yes! The Sand Dune is such a great looking color! I almost compromised on White but glad I didn't!
