Excellent Vid. I have the 2018 LS Manual version, and it goes like stink. Way faster than the automatic version. (At 90 mph, the engine is only revving at, 4200 rpms. The limiter kicks in at 6500 rpms, and max torque is at 6200 rpms for this M400 engine). In other words, this car could easily get close to pinning the odometer needle on a straight-away, without breaking a sweat. It, when driven as if it were a motorcycle, rather than an automatic, gets about 42 to 44 mpg, depending on which gear you are in and your overall speed, and you avoid down-shifting needlessly. Throw the vehicle into neutral and coast to a stop. It saves fuel and wear and tear on the transmission and the engine. If you are lucky enough to find one for sale, and want a decent city commuter, that's highway and hill-climb capable, Get the LS manual version, not the automatic. The car has hill-assist delay. Meaning that, on a hill when you release the brake and go to engage the clutch, ... There is a 2-second delay on the brake release so that you don't inadvertently roll backwards before moving forwards. Differences between the LS and LT: The LS doesn't have any controls on the steering wheel, and windows and mirrors are manual, not electric and the rear hatch needs the key to open. So if you want basic, the LS manual, is the one you want. Not the automatic. Other than that, The LS manual has the same features as the LS automatic. Back up camera, 7 inch LCD-display, etc, etc. Any questions, .... just text my comments. Stay Safe.
Just look at the giant monstrosities parked behind this little guy. Whoever buys this is going to be one lucky driver to own a cool small car with a manual transmission. Kia Rio I think is the only other option in this class

I just discovered how cool the spark was, after renting one for a week. And I’m sad to find out they are discontinued.
Bummer! It would be a good rental for a small town.
I'm going to be getting mine in a month not new but overall I'm excited..
I like the small manual transmission cars!
I want 1

Those huge SUVs are anachronisms. The most popular trim level on a Suburban is the Premier, which has a MSRP of $72k. Oh, please...
Mitsubishi Mirage is the closest comparable vehicle in the US and they just dropped the manual for this model year
On those Chevys/(Daewoo Matiz) Only MANUAL Transmission.
Auto transmission sucks and breaks....
The Spark CVTs are made by Jatco, which is partly owned by Nissan.
