Team Minho all the way. Kitty and Dae obviously aren't going to get back together, Kitty declared that very strongly. And Yuri has a gf she literally fought for this whole season. It'd be stupid for them to make her give up on Juliana just because Kitty likes her 💀 Kitty better either get with Minho in s2 (because it just makes the most sense honestly) or get with a new character.
Not only Min Ho and Yuri are siblings, but both of them are way older than Kitty. (Kitty is like 19-20, while Yuri is 30 and Min Ho 25-26).
Plus Alex is also younger than Yuri, which is ironic cause she's supposed to be her student

@@dee4738 Minho was the first person she met on her way to the airport. He is immediately considered as a potential love interest. Also they had great chemistry. The whole thing with Yuri is that she's trying to get with Juliana and we were rooting for her to be able to do that and deal with her family. There was literally nothing happening between Kitty and Yuri before she had that dream and then suddenly she's in love with her like what-. It came out of no where. They're friendship development where they help and defend each other was cute. It reminded me of Bonnie and Damon from the Vampire Diaries. Even though they were a couple in the books, the enemies to best friends arc was awesome, I loved it and it would be great in XO, Kitty too with Yuri and Kitty. There's just no chemistry and their slow-mo interactions after the dream were painfully awkward😭like no- why? It seemed forced as hell. You may like them together but personally I want Kitty and Minho.

Kitty's crush on yuri literally happened the exact same way so what’s different except for the fact that one is a hetero ship and one is a lesbian ship?
@@dee4738 She met Minho in the airport so she met him first, but look, if you like Yuri and Kitty together, that's fine. You're not the only one. I just don't see the chemistry. The progression of Minho and Kitty from enemies to lovers was smoother for me. There was bickering from the beginning. Starting from "No EnGliSh" at the beginning to the whole "she's obsessed with me" comments from Minho in their dorm, when he sees her in the dress at the party without knowing it was her, the scene where they cooked together, when he stared with admiration when she made the speech at the dinner they organized, when he put out the fire on her dress on stage - which was my favorite cause there was a moment there before Dae interrupted where they just stared at each other and it was all cute. Minho's dream just felt like it was solidifying what was implied by the bickering which was leaning towards a possible romance already. The progression was just relatively more natural for me. It doesn't have to be a lesbian vs. straight thing. The scenes with Yuri and Kitty before the dream felt more like female solidarity. Like we're linked by a man and people expect us to fight but I won't tear the other woman down, like the bar scene. I like the fact that they were backing each other up when normally in movies, characters in that position would hate each other. It breaks that stereotype and says we can have mutual respect and better yet friendship rather than the rivalry that's expected from this kind of storyline. That's why I liked them so much as friends. Yuri and Juliana were cute and we had scenes with them and their struggle throughout so we knew to root for them. With Kitty though, we didn't see anything on Yuri's side except some hesitation in the end at the airport - that was after the awkward confession during rehearsal. Yuri was focused on Juliana. It felt like a homewrecker situation if Kitty pursued that and I wasn't feeling it. You can disagree if you like them more. This is my perspective. These are ships. There's no point in arguing. Yuri and Kitty could have been great but I don't think the writers built up a good enough connection with them. The ship was just dropped on us halfway through the series.
dude kitty had amazing love interests all 3 of them but i do think kitty &dae out grew each other. were a really cute first relationship tho. i rly liked yuri &kitty but also yuri is sooo in love w juliana &theyre so cute too so

tbh i love the idea of kitty being lgbt don’t get me wrong (i’m nblw myself :3) but the love for YURI seems so forced. if she had more interactions with a female friend and developed feelings over time i would actually love that. but with yuri it was just like “i hate her i hate her oh hey she’s pretty let’s like her now” like what…. let’s be so fr. her relationship with yuri (if they were trying to do an enemies to lovers) should have resembled the minho x kitty situation if anything. it developed naturally, from slowly hating to slowly becoming okay with each other and then that one big bang of hey i DO like this person. with yuri it was just… such bad writing. whoever wrote that storyline needs a demotion fr
i love that kitty is figuring out her identity! but i do have to agree that it was a little forced with yuri. i’m hoping that in season 2 they will develop that story line more if they’re trying to get kitty and yuri together 😄
They did bond over figuring sht out about their moms and her liking her at the party is random because attraction is random. She had a bi awakening, this doesn't have to do with how much she knows her or if they're friends, she's just attracted to her regardless

Nah because it PISSED ME OFF that kitty didn't even try and learn korean. She kept saying "i better learn on my korean" SO FREAKING LEARN IT FOR GODS SAKE!! Sorry, its just such a pet peeve of mine. Like i get it, its an international school but that does not mean everyone can speak English and you will only write in English. The school is in Korea, theres going to be korean kids who can't speak English well. Its giving emily in paris

@@flordiakilos yes I do agree to some extent like Minho was mean to kitty telling her to go back home but the thing with yuri is that she fake dated Dae , lied to kitty , it emotionally hurt kitty , then in one scene she stole kitty gift and never gave it to dae and threatened him. Dae is terrible, he did not care about kitty emotions plus he has a flat personality,he did not save kitty from the fire. So right now I am partially team Minho as he saved kitty from the fire but I am also team nobody as all of them were nasty,

@acailoves I felt that it was forced bc Kitty and Yuri never interacted outside of small interactions. It didn't feel like her crush on Yuri would be so impactful on her that she would actually give up Dae, someone she's been dedicated and trying to pursue for a while. Minho and Kitty felt less forced bc they lived together, cooked dinner together prior, and their banter is very common in a contemporary "enemies to lovers". As well as the fact that Minho admits to liking her but Kitty doesn't seem to reciprocate or deny it. It's more realistic compared to "falling in love" with Yuri after one look. I think Kitty liking Yuri more the more they talk was good, but everything else was too much in not enough time.

ok, overall opinion: C U T E in a goofy way
first, I actually thought it was kind of cute the whole yuri-kitty thing but I hated how they made it so random lol LIKE she just had a dream and suddenly she likes her?? and they could've made it more coherent but they just chose not to, it's just, look at the min ho's situation: he also had a dream about kitty and started liking her, BUT before it they had moments where he started seeing her in a better light and got to know her, so it made sense when the dream came by

I honestly hated this show. It put a bad label on bi sexual orientation, we aren’t back and forth like that. At least the majority. This show put a stereotype on bisexuals that honestly put a bad taste in my mouth with a wishy washy love story that made no sense. I hope they do better next season and keep her in just one relationship.
I have no idea why the above would dislike the idea that Kitty finds gay love..We know the guy thing isn't working and she does eventually come out as BI so wtfp??? Kitty will be with her girl.. It will take awhile but it will happen.. This show is cute like American cute but it's not emotional like HS.. The Brits do it so much better and the kissing in HS is everywhere not here.. There's not enough gay here or good acting.. There's nothing that will make you cry or take you to the edge of your seat..NO SHOW in the US does this better than HS.. Season 3 HS is looming time to buy 18 boxes of tissues because HS is going to get so much darker..I do like XO Kitty it's cute but just leave your brain at the door because you don't need one!!
