Planet Hollywood. That property is a tremendous bargain for all that comes with it. You have all the restaurants on the miracle mile, plus strip house. You’re steps away from everything and the casino is fun. The rooms are in very good condition. Now, about that pool. Let’s just say you have access to other ceasers property pools :)
MGM Grand. It's the most one-resort-fits-all/checks the most boxes casino for me. On cheaper weeks, it's a tremendous value. The location isn't ideal (but better if you stick to MGM properties), but you do have the monorail there to offset that, and the location is actually great if you like to go off the strip, with less traffic than coming from center strip or downtown.
My wife and I love the Park. We always stay there and get down to the casino early, like 6am Vegas time. We seem to win more at that time and the cocktail waitresses are willing and ready to supply endless mimosas with the little bottles of sparkling wine. It is totally awesome.
We love morning gambling. We try to start out in the high limit room for coffee where they give nice glasses with it 😂 it’s the simple things that stand out
Park MGM is my absolute favorite casino in Las Vegas! I like the layout, the smaller size, the selection of slot machines, the food outlets and the overall more mature clientele. The pools seem small but relaxing, and I like shaded pools during the Las Vegas hotter temperatures and the umbrellas they provide. The easy access to CVS, Walgreens and ABC Store is a huge selling point, and Target is there as well. I appreciate you showing us an ADA/Accessible room, especially the bathroom. I haven’t actually stayed at Park MGM yet because my comp offers never include accessible rooms, though I can easily book accessible rooms with my comps at NY-NY and Bellagio. My brother needs the shower bench, so it’s nice to know they have those rooms, though I will have to call in my reservation to get one. The Park area, even the whole area from NY-NY, Park MGM, Aria, Crystals, Cosmopolitan to Bellagio is now the best section of the Strip. It’s cleaner, has more visible security and the tram is great. As much fun as the Link Promenade can be, I just am not comfortable walking the area from Flamingo to Harrahs anymore. I’ve stayed at NY-NY three times since their renovations, and I do like the rooms! The only downside is they didn’t do much with the bathrooms, they are small with a tub-shower combo and one sink. Get a Soho Premier room, not the basic one: the Soho Premier is larger and has a refrigerator. I’ve only stayed there during fall and winter months, so there were less families with children staying then. Great, thorough job with your review!
I loved watching this video!! I’m staying at Park MGM for the first time in about a month. It’ll also be my first solo trip to Vegas so I’m so friggin’ excited!!! Thank you for all that you do to bring us such quality Vegas content.
We love Park MGM for every reason you mentioned. We do several staycations throughout the year and it's one of our go-to resorts. Super clean, great location, a lot of dining options, etc.
Just want to say you guys are really great. You come across real sincere. It’s like you want to take your viewers on vacation with you. You have to one of the top three couple vloggers on Vegas.
Just stayed at Nomad. It was fabulous! Bavettes was absolutely the best steak I’ve had in Vegas and I’ve been to most of the strip steakhouses. I’ve not stayed in Park MGM proper. Location is great. Congratulations 🍾🥂
Next time Lisa and I will try Park MGM for sure . Com on next summer lol. Loved chef AJ and the food at LaLa Noodle . I liked the variety of cheap eats at NewYork next door as well . Always enjoy your videos ! Thanks guys
love this property the logistics are amazing will be staying in nomad and parkmgm for my next visit, wasnt lady gaga amazing i never went to a jazz show before but i found it so good i went again 3 days later back in sept the sound of her voice and the band and trumpet and saxx were out of this world.la la noodle and best friend get my resort credit all day long and primrose cobb salad to start the day.i get comps for bellagio/aria but pick this property every time so that says sommit
Hey Josh and Rachel, not sure if anyone else mentioned but the reason the clothes bar was half way down in the closet was because you were in an accessibility room. It was lower so that someone in a wheelchair could hand their clothes. Loved your review, we get so many ideas for our next trip. Thanks to both of you!
We appreciate your reviews knowing they are always an honest assessment. We will keep Park MGM as a possibility for a future trip. We noticed how open the casino feels. We are fans of Vdara, but are looking to try new places. Thank you both for all your hard work. Always a pleasure watching.
THIS IS MY FAVOURITE HOTELLLL IN VEGAS FOR THE REASONS YOU SAID!!!!!!! I loved it when it was Monte Carlo too!!!!! AGREE!!!!!!!! :):):):) Thank you for a great video...and the time lapse!!!!!!!
Agree on MGM. Some of my thoughts as a regular to that place. The pros are Eataly, location, pricing, non smoking, clean, easy accessible and will not kill your feet. I love how easy it is as a jumping off point to just about anything MGM. You can tram easy to Bellagio or Cosmo, you can walk right into NYNY which gets you to MGM, also love the Park. Its not a crazy big casino, and the pool is right near the elevators. My cons are that it can be a very quit place at times and many of the bars/nightlife is closed during weekdays, which is when I stay. The pool is fine but again its a lot more reserved and straightforward. I hope they improved the lighting like your video, thought it was very dark in June 23' when I was there last on the floors.
Great review as always guys! Best chicken wings I ever had was at Best Friend! Really glad I got to meet you guys finally and enjoyed chatting with you. We could talk forever about Vegas!! Hope to run into you again one day. Take care.
Thank you for your content. I agree completely with your assessment. Park has been our primary stay location since it went non-smoking. It has been fantastic. The price point is also really good. We generally take the money we have saved by not booking Aria, Bellagio, etc. and gone to a nice dinner instead. The meal choice are thumbs up. We have not tried all of the places but over time we will. The location is great. We don't mind getting our steps in, so it works well for us. It is really nice to have the tram so close and to have the back of casino walkway if we want to get a few more steps in. Being close to "City Center" is awesome. All in all, one of our favorite MGM properties.
Thank you - we go to Las Vegas annually and usually stay at Mandalay Bay but wanted something more centrally located to attractions we like and were debating what Park MGM would be like. Great overview and we just booked our stay.
I have always loved the Park. Coming in December and staying at Aria because I could not get a comp at The Park. Chose the Aria because it is so easy to get to Park. Great review, thanks for posting!
Great review! I am loyal to MGM. I have never stayed at Park MGM. The rates I've been getting for 2024 for Park MGM are so good/in my budget that I'm considering it for at least one of my trips on a week MGM Grand is more expensive. I've heard the pool area is very nice. Good tip on the sunshine, thank you. The main reason I'm considering it is the location. It's a long walk to Bellagio from Luxor, or even MGM Grand. Stating at Park MGM would probably save me cab money. I think I'd like a green room as well, so thanks for that tip too. I saw Aerosmith in September 2022 at Dolby Live. That theater is amazing! The sound is incredible, and there's not a bad seat in the house. That's cool you've seen Bruno and Gaga. I really like the Park MGM casino floor. It feels the most like a casino back home. The slots are positioned in a way that it's easy to navigate the floor, and they're not all in circles, so you can play next to whoever you're on your trip with (NYNY, on the other hand, is the opposite). And I know this is anecdotal, but I've hit my biggest slot machine hit on each of my last 3 trips all at Park MGM (I play at all the MGM properties-can't wait for Cosmo!). I have never been to On The Record, but that's on the bucket list. I'm a simple eater. Eataly is not really for me, but between Aria and NYNY, and the food options across the street, there's plenty close by. And I prefer Coke over Pepsi, but again, Aria is close by. So whatever Park MGM doesn't have, I wouldn't have to go too far. Thank you as always for the helpful and useful videos. Keep them coming!
Wow thank you so much for sharing. It is definitely worth a stay to try out. I do like that it has the same RC and FP as the lower end casinos and that location is ideal for any MGM purist
I’m always torn between Park MGM and Delano. Delano has better rooms, beds and is much quieter. Park MGM has a great smoke free casino floor and the food options are amazing. Best Friend, Eataly and Bavette’s are some of the best restaurants in town.
Josh and Rachel this is a fantastic review! I've stayed here a few times usually for a night to change it up from PH or whatever but it is a very nice clean casino! I love the smoke free atmosphere and it is a great location to a few other key casinos and fun spots near by.
Yea the nonsmoking and location are the biggest thing for us. The food options are also very good, nicer than Excalibur or NYNY but not only crazy expensive spots like at Bellagio and Aria
I stayed at that hotel resort in 2011 for one week when it was called the Monte Carlo. it was a comfortable hotel and relatively affordable. Good times.
You nailed this review. I booked it again. 5th time in 2 years. Drank and ate at every bar and restaurant 'cept Nomad Library, but made rez for this upcoming trip. Enjoyed the Nomad Bar brunch (lobster benedict) and live piano music. Chill and sophisticated. Went to a couple concerts, The Who and Bruno Mars. Love the no smoking aspect. Morning shade at the year round pool and hot tub is a plus for my pasty white skin. Location, easy access to everything is the best on the Strip imho. sante and bon appetit.
Agreed 100% Park MGM is arguably the best married couples resort on the strip. My wife and I stay there or NoMad for our weekend getaways. It has everything we need and more!
I remember Dustan used to tell me about enjoying the Monte Carlo - I never stayed during it's time. Love the bones of the hotel though. We will have to meet up when D gets thru this.
Howdy Ho Peeps! I agree I think Park MGM is underrated. I’m gonna disagree on the rooms …not my style but I like the casino and the no smoking. Love Bavetts ( I’m a fan of the darker lighting and setting ) and of course Eataly is awesome. All around I think it’s a great place . 😎😎😎
Hey Anthony! The rooms are not great that is for sure but we are putting it against rooms at Luxor NYNY MGM and Excalibur level. It can compare favorably to them for us. Not in the same category to a Cosmo, Bellagio, Wynn etc at all but also half the cost Thanks so much!
@@JoshRachael I’d rather sleep in my car than stay at Excalibur lol . I think the remodeled rooms at NYNY are actually a big improvement. Never stayed at MGM Grand .
Hey there! What's the vibe like there? I will be staying at the Nomad because it is smoke-free and close to a CVS. If cool people are there, then that's awesome. If not, I will spend a lot of time at NY NY or exploring. Thanks 😊
Great video, guys. You remind me of my wife and I - lol! Only little disagreement would be that Park is superior to NYNY. Definitely don't agree with that anymore...especially since the remodels. Keep the awesome reviews coming. Thank you, both!
We were supposed to be at NYNY in September but all the flooding that weekend cancelled our flights 😢 but we do have them booked for our February trip so that might change things. But we do prefer the restaurants at Park over NYNY still
I’m looking at coming to Vegas the first weekend of October with my daughter (21st bday) and Park MGM is only $52 cheaper than Aria ($178 cheaper than Bellagio) total cost for 3 nights which I find bizarre since those 2 properties are considered more high end. I was considering NYNY but I think the beginning of October is still pool season and the small pool area might be a deal breaker (also not fond of the really small bathrooms since I’m kind of claustrophobic). I was just in Vegas a couple weeks ago with my 2 young adult children and we stayed in the spa tower at Bellagio and absolutely loved the pool area there. Trying to save some money this trip since we sort of splurged on that one 😉. Trying to pick a place to stay seems more difficult this time around. Weirdly, Mandalay Bay/Delano and MGM Grand are also pretty expensive that weekend unfortunately.
Hope you have a great time. Seeing the prices you listed I would think Aria is best for the money out of those options. We really enjoy Park MGM but if price is similar Aria is better
Neither of us actually ever stayed at Monte Carlo. Very easy for us to go into it as a blank slate but do understand that some have great memories of it before the transition

I love park mgm also, mostly because it’s no smoking. And the great eating choices. My only complaint would be old carpeting on the way to room.
Yes we have had some bad experiences with some of the hallways but overall love it
