Welcome to my 42nd Ironman run of Fire Emblem 7, Hector Hard Mode. The rules for this run are simple, I cannot reset under any circumstances. Any units lost are gone forever. If I get a game over, the run is over, and I have to begin all the way from the start. Will I be able to finally beat it this time? Of course I will!

Well, Mangs said it in Gaiden Abridged "Because i'm a complete idiot and i never learn from my mistakes [...]" Ninian and Oswin died the exact same way, while Marcus even died in the same arena, which is beyond hilarious :D

Those were some hard hits, Mangs. The Matthew death (though later for me, stupid Luna crit on the ship) was most relatable in the deadpool. Plus, I did an FE6 run a few months back and lost ALL of my thieves (yes, even Astore), so when I triggered that sad cutscene, Leygault immediate got an angelic robe.

Headcanon: Lowen couldn't see the battlefield very well. He saw that Aion was dead, and though, hey, it's all sorted out. He then decided to make a snack on the battlefield, but didn't see the sniper looming over him...

I did my first ironman run a few weeks ago, my first attempt died pretty early to a luna crit on the boat map.
My second run got all the way to Endgame, then Hector got crit by Luce.

Edit: for you who don't know it's about how fighting work (don't know about the newer fire emblem games only played the GBA games), the hero Doubles Marcus and Marcus engage in battle so it goes like this " marcus, hero and hero" then it resets, you can only leave while the battle resets

About the deaths this time.
Matthew: Big mistake buddy.
Guy (stayed as an enemy unit): Sacrified for EXP to Marcus (not that it really mattered in the long run)
Bartre: Bruh.
Rebecca: He saw that coming, yet he did nothing.
Erk: Did Mangs really try to keep him safe?
Marcus: I sense (99%) deja-vu here, season 1 got sold for 770 gold, I can't remember for how much money he got sold in season 2.
Lucius: From MIA in season 1 to KIA in season 2.
Canas: Overestimated his chances of survival.
Sain: He got bad growths anyway.
Florina: Poor her, she didn't last alive for too long this season.
Dart: Bad luck and his stats were nerfed because he was rescuing a unit.
Lowen: RELEASE THE... BOGUS!!!! (I was expecting to NOT put that Super Macho Man phrase of Punch Out Wii this time, seems like it was bound to happen yet again).
Kent: He did something in battle, but got the same treatment as Sain.
Oswin: Before he killed himself yet again, he lasted a full enemy turn without getting himself killed by the Devil Axe (and getting himself killed again was expected, as long as Mangs doesn't learn to NOT USE the Devil Axe, this will keep happening over and over).
Dorcas: Seems like he wanted to troll Mangs, otherwise he wouldn't have done a critical hit at the worst time possible.
Hector: Well, after Oswin and Dorcas getting killed by bad luck, it was bound to happen, and thus... "The torment has ended..." (BTW, that "The torment has ended..." message appears in DOOM 2016 whenever you die in Ultra Nightmare difficulty... which features perma-death, forcing you to restart the game from square 1 and your current data gets deleted in the process).
Mangs not using the Devil Axe? Isn't that's a loaded request?
