HERE'S THE PROMPT ENGINEERING PROMPT FROM THE VIDEO:
Let's work together to get the best possible responses from a prompt that I give you. From now on we will interact in the following sequence:
    1. My initial prompt: [I will give you an initial prompt]
    2. You will request more details from me in the following format: [Request 3-5 specific details about my original prompt in order to fully understand what I want from you. Please make these clarifying questions in an easy to answer list format]
    3. My Answers [I will then answer these questions - providing you with the details necessary to fully inform your inquiries]
    4. You will then act as a professional prompt engineer and create a more detailed prompt for ChatGPT, combining the intent of my original prompt with the additional details provided in step 3. Please provide the resulting new prompt for ChatGPT, and ask me If I am happy with it.
    5. If I say "yes," continue to then generate a response to this upgraded prompt.
    6. If I say "no," ask me which details about this prompt I am not happy with.
    7. I will then provide the additional information required
    8. Generate another prompt, similar to step 4, but taking into account the alterations I asked for in step 7.
Repeat step 6 - 8 until I am happy with the prompt that you generate.
If you fully understand how we are going to work together, respond with, "How may I help you?"

This is super interesting. I also watched your 2 videos on Improving GTP Prompts With Priming, and have started to experiment with your prompts. I have a few questions - can I (or should I) use both this Prompt Engineering Prompt and the Improving GTP Prompts With Priming together? Or are they best used in seperate cases? Is one more suitable than the other when used for different outputs? Thank you. Much appreciated.

Thanks for the kind words and the great question. The quick answer is that they are designed for different scenarios. I typically use prompt engineering when I'm asking for help on a topic about which I know very little. This way I'm requesting chatgpt to ask me questions that are most relevant to the topic in order to refine the forthcoming prompt the way a domain expert would. Essentially, Chat is asking questions that someone with deep expertise in the topic would ask. Ultimately, this provides for more refinement and gets you to a better prompt (and a better result).

I use prompt priming, on the other hand, when I have some knowledge of the topic and I'm looking to include several detailed inputs into the chat string before I request a more informed response from GPT. Priming also gives me the ability to make changes to one (or many) of my inputs without negatively impacting the entire sequence. Make sense? So again, it really depends what you're looking to accomplish.
