Boltshark scouts or sludge pump drillers can stack slows on the ghost to the point it can't really move and the slows just don't go away. Fire a few taser bolts or charged sludge pump shots and you can basically render the ghost an invalid

swarmageddon is on the opposite side of the spectrum for me. I despise that warning because its just constant harassment that can really chunk a lot hp out of you if you're not paying attention. Especially when combined with shield distruption and lethal enemies and I main driller. the fact that they're so easy to kill doesn't make me feel better in fact, it makes me feel worse because you know you could've avoided that damage if you just paid a little more attention too. I think blood sugar on high haz actually makes certain mission a lot easier. Especially with double bugs on, you end up swimming in red sugar when every swarmer, jelly, grunt drops ten health or whatever is
Regardless of hazard, I'm pretty sure Blood sugar also increases the spawn rate for small swarmer waves. The game makes sure you get that constant supply of weak enemies to stay topped off. I don't have proof but every time I load into a blood sugar mission it feels like swarmaggeddon light.
@marzipancutter8144 yeah you might be right cus one of my fav things about blood sugar is just standing still in swarmer waves pickaxe swinging, letting thorns work. Unless it's a massive wave you get so much hp they can't even hurt you lol

The team kept taking all the nitra and dropping all the resupplies all in one small cluster in one of the more open caverns. On top of elimination basically not having many bugs spawning so we were always dying to blood sugar, having no scattered resupply pods to make an oxygen network to safely move around to gather more nitra or make a safe route between dreadnaught cocoons or back to the drop pod made deaths occur several times more often than needed to low oxygen basically tripling (or more!) the constant damage everyone was taking, and the team 'leader' kept running off and calling Molly to stupidly far off positions left most of the team huddling like cowards by the resupply pod cluster eating all the ammo to 'survive' instead of actively hunting the dreadnaughts. I had to rapidly tunnel between the cocoons grabbing every bit of sugar and nitra i could find hoping to survive long enough to pop an egg and make it back to the team or get to molly so i could call a resupply to actually stand my ground alone. I barely managed to win that mission while the others kept dying and reviving each other in an endless loop of deaths. That was one mission i had to leave the 'team' behind. Some people just actively try to sabotage others for their own amusement
I remember a while ago watching some videos someone did about doing missions with anomaly/mutator combos that arent allowed to happen normally. Might be worth checking out. Rival presence/industrial sabotage are designed to replace all stationary targets (such as cave leeches) with the rival turrets so cave leech cluster doesnt appear with those missions.
Blood sugar is op on missions such as salvage. Because the enemies keep coming to you and you basically will never die unless a bug boy like an oppressor shows up.
