I use the EOS R7 and Sigma 150-600 C to photograph birds.
I find that sometimes it fails to focus. and it will stand still not working.
I had to turn the camera the other way. to focus on other objects first And then come back to the desired bird again.
But many times it's too slow. And the bird has moved to another branch or sometimes that bird has flown away .
Do you encounter this problem?

I don't encounter this type of problem. The Sigma is a bit dated and the autofocus is not adapted to the incredible speed of the R7 but it does the job for me! I recommend the Duade Paton settings for optimization! The R7 really deserves good lenses, I'm waiting for the release of a 150-600 or 200-600 to sell my Sigma! Cheers, Ludo

on my latest Crozon video I film a swallow in flight with the R7 and the Sigma 150 600
