  • There are so many great exercises to do in a squat warm up.
Here's a routine everyone can benefit from,
along with our animations that will show you what exactly happens in your body when you do it.
Just grab a light weight to hold in front of you (around 20-30 lbs), it may help go into a deeper squat.
    A few pointers:
    ✫ Shoes off
    ✫ Knees out
✫ Hold each position for a few seconds
✫ Keep your weight in the middle of the foot
This routine promotes hip and ankle mobility, hip and foot stability, and squat coordination.
Do your body a favor and take a few minutes to practice it.

This is a great video, thanks! My problem when squatting is I immediately flood my shorts with diarrhea. I push through and finish my set, could you make a video on this?

im very glad i found this video. the issue i was having was my legs straining whenever i did squats. being more flexible in my hips and ankles helped a lot

Thanks for the warm up! I have been watching more of your videos. I have been strength training for years. I always thought I had good form until recently. I did this warm up today with a couple of sets of a medium weight for me. I had trouble feeling my glutes squeeze. After a few sets I noticed my inner thighs/quads were on fire. Will continue to use this and get a feel for it.

this is a great video, thanks ! My problem when squatting is that my hip flexors are always super tight and limits my ability to squat the weight up without a pinch feeling in the flexors. Any videos or tips that can help me with this before a squat workout? thanks!

I broke my right ankle and now I have screws in my ankle, which makes mobility a serious challenge when I do squats.
