so at about 4:36, you'll see the pop-up ajax search tool inside WP admin. Is there a way to have this externally, client facing as well? With my theme these are the only options for search i can use. Please advise, Thanks!
+wpdreams Hi, I'm having a problem w/ the content popping up below the search and not above, like in your demo and in the wp-admin page. Can you assist me?
Why i do not see all my Custom fileds but only 4 or 5 ? I've 10 specific custom fileds that i'd want to manage and to include in search but they not appear. Also indexing the table ( including CF ) i see only first five custom fileds but not other five. have you any suggest? p.s. you have written, in the video title begin, feld and not field
Yes, using the settings shortocode, you can move the settings position anywhere on the same page: documentation.ajaxsearchpro.com/getting-started/custom-settings-box-position
Hi, There is a front-end and a back-end demo over here: ajaxsearchpro.com/ ..also, a free version is available with less features, but fully functional without restrictions: wordpress.org/plugins/ajax-search-lite/
Hi! Can we put a limit on Ajax Search Pro to search only on one specific page. Please Sir Reply fast and Your tutorial is very nice. Thanx for help in advance...
+Daily Digital Technology On the Advanced Options -> Exclude results panel you can exclude items by ID, pages by parent. If you use posts or other custom post types, then you can exclude them there by categories, tags or custom taxonomy terms. This is all the ways you can exclude results.
i think what he is asking is can i create multiple search shortcodes - custom to each page and each page will have a search that is unique and does what chortcode implies - so if I'm on a category or taxonomy page for a custom post type movies ( kids ) then the search on that page will only search inside the kids taxonomy and then i set a custom search bar for the taxonmy ( adult ) and if you search on that page then it would only be for the adult movies...
Incomplete video, doesn't show the more important, several plugin fields in ACF simple doesn't display here in Ajax Search, way? What is the pre-requisite to display the fields there? Video don't show the first and more important part of all this setup.

ACF fields are supported the same way as the regular custom fields. You simply enter the field name as a regular custom fields and it will work.
