Thank you ভাইয়া... You helped me a lot. I had been looking for something like this for so far... And here it is thanks for making an awesome plugin like this for free.

Hi, Themify. This looks awesome! I'm looking for a search bar tool for a new e-commerce site that we're supposed to launch soon. If we use this, could we use it in such a way where we have a search bar in the center of the site header where there's a drop-down selection for the product category, a text space for keyword search, a search button and then the results will go to another page where the category and keyword is already selected/filled-in accordingly?
Hi, Yes, you can download it directly from WordPress.org, here: wordpress.org/plugins/themify-wc-product-filter/

i'm actually using it with the divi shop module, but not by using the default create page etc. i go to wp admin, divi, theme builder, and made a total new builder only for a shop, where a made a 2 columns bar, one side the shop and the next one i paste as a text, the shortcode. and it works pretty well for me. link here if you want to try it i'm barely learning it

Hi Taha, thank you for using Themify. In order to help you better, would you be able to provide us more detail, including your site URL using our support forum: themify.me/forum Thank you!
Hi, This depends on your Theme, if your Theme allows for different Sidebars for different Categories, then you can add different filters in those sidebars, by default most Themes have only one sidebar which will show on all Category pages.
Hi there, I have tried following your video, but a few are not working. 9:07 I dont have a widgets option at all. it looks like WordPress is fading out widgets. I add the shortcode into the WooCommerce shop. But the filters dont show up.

I love the appearance and function of this filtering plugin, but do you have a fix for when it doesn't update the product list at all? I have OceanWP and I use elementor page builder. I want help regarding variable products. Does this plugin filter variable products? I am looking for a little help on the product loop images for color filtering. For example, I have a product with two variations, green and brown. I also have a green filter and a brown filter set up, However, when I filter by brown the image does not change. Lead image on the product is green, I do have images set at the variation level as well a green product and a brown product correctly mapped on the variation level. Does this problem can be resolved using your plugin?
Help ! it's a really good plugin simple and beautiful ! but sadly it's filters all products .. for example on apple phones products page, when i click on filter , it filters and show all the other brands and even other categories.. i think that everyone using your plugin have same problem but still there's no solution yet ! i wish you can make a solution for this ..except that good job ! thank you
Is it possible to create multiple filters based on categories search within the category? For example, i have two categories, one is Jeans and second is Shirts on two separate pages. As a shopper,I went to jeans and search the jeans page with price, size, on sale, etc based criteria?
Unfortunately, at the moment it is not possible to create a separate filter within a search result. However, the product filter can do multiple filters at the same time. So for example you can select Jeans then also select on-sale. This will then show all the Jeans that are on-sale.
This plugin looks amazing, Do you know how to display attributes in the shop page? for example product 1-black, product 1-blue,... insteat product 1...
Hi, how can I modify that it only shows subcategories per category page? For example: I sell clothes with the categories: for boys and for girls. And subcategories for girls are: tops, blouse, t-shirt. How can I make sure if A visitor clicks on the category: 'For girls' , only the subcategories are shown in the sidebar (and not all the options for boys?) Thanks in advance.
Hi Laura, Unfortunately the Product Filter doesn't change filter items, so after clicking a Category like Girls, it will show Boys Category as well in the Filter, so if clicked on Boy after that you can show results for both or if you click Girl and T-Shirt it will only show T-Shirts for Girls.
Hi! I am currently working with this plugin, but I don't have the "size" tab. How can I get it? I tried to Google it, but haven't found an answer yet.. Thanks in advance!
Hi Marly, Size should be added as Product Attribute: woocommerce.com/document/managing-product-taxonomies/#product-attributes and setup products with those attribute, so then you should be able to add Size to your Product Filter.
Hi, Unfortunately the filters can not be hidden based on previous selections, but for some Categories if you theme allows you to add a separate sidebar for different categories, then you can create a separate filter for a specific category where you do not include sizes in the filter.
I really like this plugin, but I have an issue where filter options show up even when there isn't that product on the specific category page. Let's say you're on the page for "Category A" which lists products by brands 1,2, and 3. Somehow in the filter "brands" menu, an option for brand #4 still shows up. Is this supposed to happen?
Hi Rachael, The filters are not hiding in case the selected "Category A" doesn't have any items in brand 4, the Product Filter is filtering products, it is not filtering the filter items, so all filter items are available on all Categories, even if they are empty, because they are still usable, for example if brand 4 is available on category B, then even on category A you can select Category B from filter and choose brand 4, so it will show the result of Category B + brand 4.
Thanks Very informative video. However, plug-In didn't work in my pc. I tried to download this plugin for some reason the "Themify - WooCommerce Product Filter" could not be "Activated" I hope you can help me. I might be missing something. I really appreciate your response.
Hi Berlie, Please contact us via email: themify.me/contact and send us a screenshot about the error you are seeing when you try to activate the plugin.
How would you link a created filter to a product category? This looks like its fine if you dont mind an all in one filter to appear across all pages in a catalogue, but if there are specific filtering requirements for different parts of a site then it looks like it cant handle this functionality.
Hi Paul, If by "linking Product Filter" mean to show the filter on a Category Page, please add the Product Filter's shortcode to the Product Categories Sidebar ( this is only possible if your Theme allows it ). If the Filter is showing on the Category Page, the Filter will automatically be "linked" to the active Category, so the filter would have the Categeory pre-selected.
@@themifyme I wish you would answer more questions here like this so we can all benefit, as many of us have similar requirements, instead of telling people to email for one-on-one support. Thanks so much for this plugin. I'm really hoping I can make it work well on my site.

Hello Is it possible to have different filters on different category pages. I have a fishing tackle store. So for example, I have built a filter for Hooks and another filter for Weights. I only want the Hooks filter on the Hooks cateogry page - and the Weights filter on the Weights Category page. How can I do this?
Hi Sean, You can absolutely achieve what you want using a third-party plugin like this: wordpress.org/plugins/custom-sidebars/. This will allow you to use different Sidebars for different Categories, so this way you can add different product filter shortcodes to different categories. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at Support@themify.me

Hi Javed, The Product Filter can only filter default WooCommerce products based on the default WooCommerce Shop page. Unfortunately custom elements can't be filtered, so if there are custom elements on the page the filter will load the default WooCommerce products at the bottom of the custom elements (maybe added with a third-party Page Builder or Theme). Themify plugin is great, thanks for the help but i have an issue, sidebar is perfect on desktop but on phone version it is at the last on page which should be on top. Can you please help?

is it possible to Show different filters depending on category?
Hi,
This depends on your Theme, if your Theme allows for different Sidebars for different Categories, then you can add different filters in those sidebars, by default most Themes have only one sidebar which will show on all Category pages.
One search criteria is missing: searching by DATE range. Will you add this soon?
Thanks for your suggestion. We'll look into this with the team and the possibility of adding this feature.

I have tried with Elementor product archives as well as standard woocommerce product archive. Doesn't matter which one I use, the filters just don't apply. I know many people have this problem. Would love to pay for this plugin if it just could do that essential last part.. :D Tips?

I want help regarding variable products. Does this plugin filter variable products? I am looking for a little help on the product loop images for color filtering. For example, I have a product with two variations, green and brown. I also have a green filter and a brown filter set up, However, when I filter by brown the image does not change. Lead image on the product is green, I do have images set at the variation level as well a green product and a brown product correctly mapped on the variation level. Does this problem can be resolved using your plugin?

Is it possible to create multiple filters based on categories search within the category? For example, i have two categories, one is Jeans and second is Shirts on two separate pages. As a shopper,I went to jeans and search the jeans page with price, size, on sale, etc based criteria?
Unfortunately, at the moment it is not possible to create a separate filter within a search result. However, the product filter can do multiple filters at the same time. So for example you can select Jeans then also select on-sale. This will then show all the Jeans that are on-sale.
Does the filter works on a mobile? Is there any reset button I can add?
This plugin looks amazing, Do you know how to display attributes in the shop page?
for example product 1-black, product 1-blue,... insteat product 1...
Is there a way to "pre-select" a category or a Tag on the page?
Hi, how can I modify that it only shows subcategories per category page? For example: I sell clothes with the categories: for boys and for girls. And subcategories for girls are: tops, blouse, t-shirt. How can I make sure if A visitor clicks on the category: 'For girls' , only the subcategories are shown in the sidebar (and not all the options for boys?) Thanks in advance.
Hi Laura,
Unfortunately the Product Filter doesn't change filter items, so after clicking a Category like Girls, it will show Boys Category as well in the Filter, so if clicked on Boy after that you can show results for both or if you click Girl and T-Shirt it will only show T-Shirts for Girls.
@@themifyme Alright makes sense! Thanks!
Hi! I am currently working with this plugin, but I don't have the "size" tab. How can I get it? I tried to Google it, but haven't found an answer yet.. Thanks in advance!
Hi Marly,
Size should be added as Product Attribute: woocommerce.com/document/managing-product-taxonomies/#product-attributes and setup products with those attribute, so then you should be able to add Size to your Product Filter.
@@themifyme thank you very much for you answer!! I will check it tomorrow 😇
Is it possible to hide some filters if they doesn't exist in category? eg in cloths i don't need shoes sizes.
Hi,
Unfortunately the filters can not be hidden based on previous selections, but for some Categories if you theme allows you to add a separate sidebar for different categories, then you can create a separate filter for a specific category where you do not include sizes in the filter.
Hi Rachael,
The filters are not hiding in case the selected "Category A" doesn't have any items in brand 4, the Product Filter is filtering products, it is not filtering the filter items, so all filter items are available on all Categories, even if they are empty, because they are still usable, for example if brand 4 is available on category B, then even on category A you can select Category B from filter and choose brand 4, so it will show the result of Category B + brand 4.
Thanks Very informative video. However, plug-In didn't work in my pc. I tried to download this plugin for some reason the "Themify - WooCommerce Product Filter" could not be "Activated" I hope you can help me. I might be missing something. I really appreciate your response.

How would you link a created filter to a product category? This looks like its fine if you dont mind an all in one filter to appear across all pages in a catalogue, but if there are specific filtering requirements for different parts of a site then it looks like it cant handle this functionality.
Hi Paul,
If by "linking Product Filter" mean to show the filter on a Category Page, please add the Product Filter's shortcode to the Product Categories Sidebar ( this is only possible if your Theme allows it ).

Hello
Is it possible to have different filters on different category pages.
I have a fishing tackle store. So for example, I have built a filter for Hooks and another filter for Weights. I only want the Hooks filter on the Hooks cateogry page - and the Weights filter on the Weights Category page.
How can I do this?
Hi Sean,
You can absolutely achieve what you want using a third-party plugin like this: wordpress.org/plugins/custom-sidebars/. This will allow you to use different Sidebars for different Categories, so this way you can add different product filter shortcodes to different categories. you have to install i product attributs in woocommerce!
I need to show some products by default.. and it changes products when user play's with these added filters.. is that possible?
Hi Javed,
The Product Filter can only filter default WooCommerce products based on the default WooCommerce Shop page. Unfortunately custom elements can't be filtered, so if there are custom elements on the page the filter will load the default WooCommerce products at the bottom of the custom elements (maybe added with a third-party Page Builder or Theme).

Will this PlugIn only work with the Themify Theme or will it work with any Theme?
Hi,
This plugin will work with any Theme that is WooCommerce ready and compatible with the current version of WordPress, the Filter plugin can filter on any theme based on the default WooCommerce Shop page.

It only became evident after again watching Hogan Chua's tutorial so the plugin is compatible ruclips.net/video/AYB4Keub-qE/видео.html It appears my page was full width, and it should have been a layout with a side area. Themify Shoppe > Themify Settings > Shop Settings > Product Archive > Shop Page Sidebar and Product Archive Sidebar as Hogan Chua shows at 1 Hour 36 Minutes. what about custom field like ACF plugin?
Hi Paweł,
I am not sure how Product Filter plugin could be related to a Custom Field plugin, but if you would like to filter custom fields, that is not possible, only Categories / Taxonomies or Attributes, you can create custom Attributes for you Products by following this tutorial: docs.woocommerce.com/document/managing-product-taxonomies/#section-6 , then these attributes can be filtered using WC Product Filter.
This is a 4 years old tutorial. is there a new latest video on this plugin ?
Hi,
The tutorial is still valid, we've improved the filter over the years and we always update to make it compatible with the latest WordPress / WooCommerce, but the basics and how you setup things are the same.
