This one video helped me understand the basic setup of Toolset! Thank you Dario. I do have to say however, Toolset is pretty complicated stuff. It's taken me better part of a whole week to get my head round it and while I have the results I wanted, which were pretty specific, its crazy how complex things can get. One of the best explanations I've seen on building custom searches. Using the Elementor page builder and separating the parametric search controls from the search results, provides an easy to follow structure that anyone could use. It turns a complex task into something that is quick and easy. Keep up the great work!
SOLD! This tutorial and your information is what I have been looking for - for weeks now. I've tried a lot of addons/plugins for WP and Elementor and, while they work, they don't work "together". So after $49 for this, $120 for that and all the work-arounds and hours of extra coding, your video shows a seamless integration in a complete package. Now I'm just waiting for the purchase to be complete. Thank you and well-done.
This is great! I hope to see many more tutorials for these two powerful tools. Suggestion for the devs: It would be nice if you could add a way to automatically detect what elements are being shown in the Toolset View or Form Elementor widgets and enable us to edit the styling there using native Elementor controls. Hi Kevin, thanks for the comment. You don't have to use HTML and CSS for it to work, you use it to make it appear nicer and in the style of your website. The main point is - creating a custom search is a HUGELY complex thing to program in PHP. And with Toolset, you can achieve this without becoming a professional (like, really really good) PHP and JavaScript developer. If you need to create a custom search for a WordPress website, there is no easier or better way than with Toolset, believe me. :)

Toolset hi 👋, I mean does the search box work with advanced custom fields plugin ? If not, will the basic plugin you have for sale be enough to use for a small real estate site ?
@@wheres_bears1378 hi! No, Toolset's Custom Search feature works only with custom fields and taxonomies you create using Toolset. However, Toolset allows you to create very same custom types as ACF - plus, it allows you to add custom post types (which ACF doesn't) and has far more advanced post relationships (which is also a killer feature when combined with a custom search) than what ACF provides. If you mean, Toolset Presentation, our cheapest account type, you could create all of this for a small real estate site, yes. However, what you won't be able to do is: allow others to submit real estate properties from the front-end (using Toolset Forms), you won't be able to display properties on a Google/Azure maps, and you won't have any Toolset integration with WooCommerce.
We've built everything on this example using Toolset plugins. With Toolset, you can create your own custom functionality without needing special plugins for special features. toolset.com/

It will be for an AIRBNB type gym search engine!
We don't create themes, but Toolset plugins allow you to achieve such designs with any theme. If you are already a Toolset client, you can get this design for a gyms site here - discover-wp.com/site-types/gyms-and-trainers/
i like this but what if im not on elementor? i already have a website and i just need this part
It is possible that the results of the search will be provided on another page. For example, put the search engine on the home page and have the results show them on the tab of my products.
Hello, Jonathan, yes, it's possible in Toolset, please compare this video: ruclips.net/video/kjOvztah4l0/видео.html
Area each of the results linking back to your single page? Doesn't seem like it would, please let me know thanks
Sure it's possible. You can use a simple field "Title with link" or create the link using the "post URL" attribute.
@@Toolset OH I missed that part. Also I notice when you use elementor not all the custom fields are available for each dynamic population drop down. Here's an example: You want to display the IMDB rating but how can you make that rating a link that performs a "mailto:request@email.com" when someone clicks on it? Since the field is text it wont show up in elementor under the "URL dynamic tags" when you are setting up the single page template?
can i use it on WPBakery builder?
Yes, you can! toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/using-toolset-with-wpbakery-page-builder/
I don't know anything about css, can someone help me at the last 'css style' ?? What code pasted here ? I couldn't understand...
Sir can you give us example in real estate website theme?
Like w/o typing just dropdown
Like this website dmcihomes.com no need to type jut dropdown only.
Bro how I use custom location wise filter
You can install Toolset Maps plugin and then add a control (button) to display visitor's (user's) location on your map, if this is what you are asking. More about it, here:
- toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/display-on-google-maps/displaying-markers-on-google-maps/#displaying-current-visitor-location
Thanks!
Can you search users with custom taxonomy?
Hi, I am not sure I understand the question. You cannot add custom taxonomy to users. You can only add custom taxonomy to post types.
Do I need Elementor Pro for this?

Does this work with the custom post types plugin ?
Do you mean our types plugin ? If so, yes, this is part of Toolset plugins toolset.com/home/toolset-components/#types
Great video! I do not get an option to select the toolset view after I drop the Toolset View Widget onto my page (5:23 mark) and (7:33 mark).
You need to first create at least one View, so you have something to select.
But how to add pagination?
The plugin is no longer at the marketplace
searchable dropdown if is possible with toolset please make a video
Hi, can you send me the link of listings plugin that you have use, please
We've built everything on this example using Toolset plugins. With Toolset, you can create your own custom functionality without needing special plugins for special features. toolset.com/

Hi Adam. Send your question here and we will help toolset.com/toolset-free-consultation/
i am using WordPress for this site,
I didn't know that Pacquiao was a programmer.
There's a guide that shows how to use it in regular posts instead of movies
Where do I find it?
Now I can’t find this plugin in wordpress
Hi! If you're referring to finding Toolset on the WordPress plugin repository, you won't find it there. Toolset is only available for purchase on Toolset.com.
Can we or can we not use clearly elementor for building what actually is displayed whilst searching I mean i would love to put into that grid my own styling ... some borders gaps, some buttons ....... full control as it has elementor. Can i or i canat strictly.. I want to build the full grid in elementor what is shown .. I couldn't find the exact answer anywhere.. Nowhere is clear answer spent about 3-4 hours of researching just this main question .. I am one hand on my wallet where is my credit card but I want to know if I can build such a look in the combination of those 2 tools.. this is result I want to achieve: www.geekseller.com/integrations/ : thank you for answering
why you did not answer to nly me ?
is not simple as that for me
Sorry to hear this. Did you ask for help in our forum?
영화목록 만드는 것도 보여줘
A little bit misleading for beginners. Sure, you can drag it into an Elementor section but then, you are on your own.
Hi, I am not sure what do you mean by "you are on your own"?
*Alright toolset plugin is not free* Thank me later
An useful information.
Could you speak normally without whispering?
This is just the way I talk, so, nothing I can do about it. :)
pires..
