Some good points 👍. But remember, lagos has more revenue than all the other states in Nigeria. They earn more and should do more. Thank God the governor is serious and committed.

9:26 Lagos lacks infrastructure. The only tall buildings are hotels and banks. The city needs affordable tall highrise buildings. In fact all Nigerian cities need tall buildings like up to 7 or 8 floors. Lagos needs even taller residential buildings because it's an overcrowded metropolis. If they don't build that way, then the slums will expand. If decent buildings are built, the government will know how much electricity it can distribute to them and there will be no electric power shortages due to irrelevant structures. The only good thing that the government has done so far are the metro trains. But other things like constant electricity, affordable housing infrastructure to prevent the spread of slums, free medical care, water purification plants to supply water to homes, sewage treatment and garbage treatment plants should be considered. In most European countries, there are no landfills. Garbage is recycled. Everything is recycled at plants and sent to factories to be used.
so you expect government to just build high rise houses up and down the place, which country do that... buildings are private property, if the land space is not big enough then you go sky high, and not every soil you can build high rise on...
