    Tall
I have been rocking heated gear for the past seven years a“game changer”. You can ride year-round. Do yourself a solid and get yourself a full leather chaps (pants) and a 3mm scuba hood. Ridden at 25°F dead of winter no problem.

Gerbing is the best. Lifetime warranty. The jacket and pants are heavy so order from a place you can return if it doesn't fit or too heavy/bulking for you. If you go with the jacket liner or the pant liner, be sure it will fit with the jacket and pants you plan to wear. You want it to fit snug. Whoever you purchase from, make sure you can return if it doesn't fit. When you get your gear test sitting on your bike with helmet and moving around before ripping off tags. Get the controller and the strap that you can put on your thigh. Much easier to work that way. I have all black cords, never saw red ones. The gloves seem stiff when room temp but are very flexible when heated up. Don't buy the Harley brand. Gerbing used to make it for Harley for years but in the past five or so years, they switched to a different vendor to make it and they had nothing but problems. Many dealerships won't even carry HD heated gear because of the complaints and returns. Good heated gear is expensive but worth it.

I'm a motor officer and we ride year round. We use California Heat and used to use Gerbing.
The pants liner won't be as warm if you're wearing regular pants. The wind is just too much for it to contend with. I use a heated pants liner down to about 30-35. Any lower than that and I have to use my heated outerpants which are like snowpants. I haven't used the socks yet but guys who have say they make your feet sweat and you'll have to go up in boot/shoe size to accommodate. Get some winter/windproof boots and the freeze out sock liner from cycle gear.
Keep up the good videos. I've been considering a channel myself. We visit the smokies every year. Maybe I can catch you down there and go for a ride

We have been using Gerbing Heated Gear in the PNW for over 16yrs, we ride all year, benefits include not wearing too many layers to stay warm and when it rains (most time here in WA, state) heat helps to keep my leathers dry. Well worth the investment! Ride safe!

Excellent video and great choice of products. I would run 20 amp fuse. Right now with Jacket and gloves 10 work and adding pants allow for 15 with dependability. A fourth header when you do the math you are over 15 amp however it will only go if both are up to max. If you do the math you will see that 4 heaters will be upper 15 - 17 amps. The gloves feel better and are even better fitting after some heat cycles and when they are turned on when riding. Last thing I would try to find socks over the heels because I found it is the same principle as grips versus gloves. You have lowers so it won’t be bad but socks are way better.

I found just having a liner was good enough for me, don't have pants yet and I have heated grip so I'm ok, but I'm in BC and we have lots of snow around but the heated vest gives me right up until there snow on the ground before winter and eight after the sweeper are out in the spring, so I get about 2.5 extra months on the bike with it. Yes they cost a little but the enjoyment you get from riding makes it worth it, cheers Tall, 😎😎😎

You mentioned velco at the bottom, but I thought I also saw a zipper down the pant lets towards the bottom. Can these pant liners be worn OVER pants and put on/removed like rain gear (wear you can get them on/off over boots by zipping up the pant legs) instead of underneath?

I have a jacket liner from HotWire, (from Cycle Gear), which comes with all connections and controls.. HotWire offers all the heated accessories a person would need. I wear Snow mobile pants that are insulated, wind proof and water repellent. 1 more thing I have a Heated Seat and NO grips... I'm 72 and live in Mid Ohio, I ride all year long, as long as their is NO SNOW. I've been in temps as low as 38* and am as snug as a bug in a rug...lol Ride on and ENJOY brother...
