Been using circle hooks on bluegill for 3 years now. Live bait over beds although they still swallow the hook sometimes it saves a lot of gills. I use #8 & #10 hooks!!!

I like the Concept of the " BOSS BAIT CIRCLE HOOKS, Because they allow more of the worm to lay horizontal.

Yes, when they are feeding aggressively, they can still get that hook down deep sometimes.
What brand and where do you find them? Mustad stopped selling the Demon circle in #8 & #10. TIA

Only thing bout them is they are not light wire hooks like regular bluegill hooks. But they work for me b

I had considered trying circle hooks for crappie, with the success you have with bluegills I'm going to see if it works. Thanks!
They do well. Just can’t set the hook. You have to add tension by reeling or moving the rod a little.
I use circle hooks for pretty much everything. Have a big circle hook on my 50lb braid on my Penn pursuit4 8000 and 10’ Penn rod .
