- I Became This Civilization's GOD in in the NEW One Hour One Life Update in One Hour One Life! It's been a while since I played One Hour One Life so it's time to jump back into it and explore the numerous updates that came out since the last time I played. And, believe it or not, the OHOL updates were back for a while! But it's all about AHAP now - what's that? Well, you'll see :)

About One Hour One Life
This game is about playing one small part in a much larger story. You only live an hour, but time and space in this game is infinite. You can only do so much in one lifetime, but the tech tree in this game will take hundreds of generations to fully explore.
This game is also about family trees. Having a mother who takes care of you as a baby, and hopefully taking care of a baby yourself later in life. And your mother is another player. And your baby is another player. Building something to use in your lifetime, but inevitably realizing that, in the end, what you build is not for YOU, but for your children and all the countless others that will come after you. Proudly using your grandfather's ax, and then passing it on to your own grandchild as the end of your life nears.
And looking at each life as a unique story. I was this kid born in this situation, but I eventually grew up. I built a bakery near the wheat fields. Over time, I watched my grandparents and parents grow old and die. I had some kids of my own along the way, but they are grown now... and look at my character now! She's an old woman. What a life passed by in this little hour of mine. After I die, this life will be over and gone forever. I can be born again, but I can never live this unique story again. Everything's changing. I'll be born as a different person in a different place and different time, with another unique story to experience in the next hour...

Ugh I loved the Samantha family! I actually ended up being born as a Tiffany 10+ times after I was a Samantha so I got to know all of the lore lol. The Tiffany family apparently took over the Samantha families home and they were NOT happy about it. Constant griefing between the two families. It was bad. In one of my lives, a Samantha asked me to engrave the Eve's headstone which ended up being Eve Tiffany since Eve Samantha was destroyed by the terrible Tiffany's. It took me so long to learn how to do it but once I did I was so proud! I unfortunately got a lot of slack for it and the headstone I engraved was promptly destroyed by a Samantha. I couldn't hate on them too much as I would be kind of upset if no one listened to me and just moved in after my family worked so hard on the place - it was a really beautiful little town :') but as a Tiffany in my final lives I continued to ask for peace between the families and hoped they could one day work together to make it an even better place instead of just sabotaging each other. Sadly, both families died out but I had so much fun living as both of them and doing what I could. ❤
There was a wedding at some moment that looked like reconciliation. But I don't know if it was between a Tiffany and a Samantha. May that be the case?
@@Alebrant I hope so! I made a lot of friends with the Samantha family as a Tiffany. I even professed my love to a Samantha as we died next to each other in the biggest graveyard I had ever seen in this game lol. In my last Tiffany life the Samantha's were already gone, sadly.

Is this game worth buy on mobile in 2024?
the mobile version is called "You are hope" and while it's very similar to OHOL, it's not OHOL exactly and works on its own servers and such. (Different cost too). Just keep in mind you're not supporting the original creator with it.
I honestly wouldn't be able to tell you if it's still worth buying in 2024.
The mobile version is pretty sweet as you can build up your own town and let others in as you see fit.
