    Sick flight brother! You make it all look so easy! Haha
    But having done a bit of long range (with analog) I know how challenging it can be to keep your directional antennas pointed in the right direction especially when they are mounted on your goggles as opposed to a ground station. You must have been laser focused on not losing your quad 😅

    • @WindjumbieFPV
      @WindjumbieFPV  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hahaha just stand in one place and look at the furthest point you want to fly to and fly out in a straight line from yourself, keep your head straight and don't move it around. Walksnail VRX has a 'beep' feature...it beeps faster as the signal gets lower so you can slightly turn your head to keep the signal strong using the audible tones.

      Yes also aircraft aluminum screws are pretty light, there are so many ways to make your 5'' lighter, i can still shave 20g or more off this drone if i wanted to.

    Hi Winjumbie , good idea to make your 5incher less heavy. But to cut screws for 10-15 gramms is a little bit more than it is necessary. Even your CRSF "mod" is obsolate . Using less kv and more efficient moppeds /blades combi with 21600 VTC6 cells is the way to go beyond. Anyway cudos for your work and greetings to the "island" .✌.

    • @WindjumbieFPV
      @WindjumbieFPV  11 месяцев назад +5

      Thanks for your comment but there are short light screws not cutting 😂 I know there are better options but why spend more money when what you have is perfectly capable? Nothing is obsolete if it works.

    • @rctom1
      @rctom1 11 месяцев назад +3

      Sure, I agree ur agu bro, but crsf will take you out miles and miles without modification; sure you´ll be on 50hz , then but with 500mw can get 50km range + and and my V1 with truerc patch on will give me constant 50mbit far beyond @@WindjumbieFPV . Love your place , peace.🤘

    • @WindjumbieFPV
      @WindjumbieFPV  11 месяцев назад +4

      @@rctom1 Thanks bud, i made the crsf mod cuz i failsafed around that distance a few days earlier, i'm also using 21600 P42A Molicel. I have patch antennas from iFlight but patch antennas will never do better than helicals and i built two for free. ;)
