ATTENTION! Before building with a newbeedrone cockroack frame, make sure that the c clip holding the motor together is not being held in place by the hole in the center of the motor mounts being too small.
I had a set of motors i thought were DOA because of this. The holes on this frame can be widened with a drill bit.
Thanks for the info! I checked and it is really quite "tight" ,but for HM motor only ,the betafpv motor c-clip seems smaller and fits smoothly.
Great build, brother. Im just getting ready to order one of those boards for a 75mm 1s build.
Looks like you have a great little whoop there. 👍👍
Thanks! I've been using BetaFPV 4in1 FC for a while now and it still works ,but the new matrix is still fresh ,so I don't have much experience with it. One positive thing is that it is cheaper (for me) than AIOs of similar capability. And it is much easier to use a board than to put a separate VTX or RX on it. Although, if it dies it takes everything :)
Nice one!!! She's a ripper!!!
Thank you!
Nice build! I am going to build some whoops on matrix AiO but I will definitely remove the plugs and solder the motors to the board directly. It's better to do it immediately during construction instead of after a few weeks of flying and crashing - I speak from experience :)
Thank you! Without the connectors I would gain a few more grams, but I didn't want to solder it :) I'll leave it for now, so when the connectors get tired, I'll solder.:)
So cool. Really want to get into fpv but no money❤
Thanks! Worth looking around the second hand market , many people are switching to digital or just getting bored of fpv. I had no money for anything either , when I was a kid we had to save money , because we lived almost from one month to the next . My classmates wore cool clothes, I wore second hand, they had BMX and montain bikes, I had a crappy bike. I had a computer, and only years later than others (c64). The only RC car I had as a kid was a wire car. I live in a country where taxes are taxed, we have the highest taxes in the EU. My salary is worth less than anywhere in the EU. Now over 40 it is a hobby that helps me relax and is interesting for me. Someone changes their phone every 3 months, even the more expensive ones, I can use a low end one for years. What's important for who, for me cheap shoes are good , so I have enough for fpv stuff ;)
@TargetFPV totally get you man thank you

Thank you very much!
Nice build! Its solder free right?
Thank you! Yes, you don't have to solder it. My other whoop is soldered and made of nearly similar parts but still 2-3g heavier. My scales are not very accurate but I can see the difference. I will be curious to see how durable the frame is ,because I have an air65 frame ,but I managed to break it ,anyway maybe I just had no luck ;)
@@TargetFPV o.g. Meteor 65 frame is holding up very good to crashes for me :-)
@@JackalFPV I also really like the meteor65 frame and I've used it most of the time because it can handle the crashes. I have a few to spare if the newbeedrone frame gets tired :)
you are french ?
No :) I am Hungarian.
@@TargetFPV ok so why did you know we are fpv
@@steazoxgaming I do quite a lot of shopping on drone-fpv-racer.com (one of my favourites), parts and t-shirts . One of the t-shirts says "WE are FPV" ;) But I was just looking for a camera mount and I liked their model. Especially that the air canopy ,which I have is just fragile ,so I can use it with tpu . And what i think is good ,i like to "advertise" ,like parallaxfpv and "piratframes" frames (toothpick).
