I read this the other day and didn't think anything of it, and then I came back and rewatched this video and it just clicked for me. Truly helps me see it from a new perspective
This is truly beautiful...!!! Really enjoyed this video. The music is so wonderful. It's nice to get away from sheet music and just do your own thing ...!!! Again, THANS for being a great inspiration to us all ...!!! 🤗🤗🤗
Wow !!! This is BIG THING for me…Seeing both, wow…like I watch different Tutors but believe me these two people have put in the work. Thanks to this special woman, you contributed a lot to my knowledge
For picking the grades I asked my mom pick 4 random numbers between 1 and 7, she just went, “ 4, 2, 7 and 1,” not realising she made me do an octave, and I made sure it sounded beautiful. (I’ll even play it for her birthday
i might be wrong but why doesn't Dminor11 has the F & A note in it ? You guys are playing D D G C E G but it can also be G/csus2 , any minor 11 chord is formed by using the - 1 b3 5 b7 9 11 notes. But u guys haven't used them.
Remember to also move your wrist and your arm - these should be the ones giving you your movement across wide intervals, instead of the fingers alone. Almost like an invisible string tugs on your wrist to the right or to the left, and your hand - because of how the wrist was tugged by the invisible string - moves at the same speed, in the same direction. Hope it helps!
Playing the correct note at a slow speed is more important. The speed will come it might just take a few days or even a little longer. Be patient with yourself. You could also just practice that specific jump over and over being as slow as it needs to be to maintain accuracy of course. You’ve got this. 👊🎹
HI, I'm a beginner :) How (03:14) are those chords Gm11 and Dm11 built? In my ignorance I see some keys missing and some in a different order when I compare those chords with the red pressed keys.
My own clumsy novice answer: Gm11 “should be” G, Bb, D, F, A and C. But I read that “calling something an 11 chord doesn't necessarily mean that all of the extensions will be there, it only implies the presence of extensions. So a 11-chord might or might not have the 3rd, the 5th, and/or the 9th, depending on how it's voiced. But it will definitely have the root, the 7th, and the 11th, plus a selection of the other intervals”. And also Jesús here kind of changes the order of some notes of the chord, which I suppose that is also… voicings? And technically, if “most” the notes of the Gm11 chord are present, it’s still a Gm11.
Also called degrees. It's simply this: play a C scale but just say the number of each note: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. So C is 1. E is 3. That means E is the 3rd degree or 3rd grade of the key of C. F is the 4th grade. I've always heard them called degrees in my 50+ years of playing piano, but grades works too.
try experimenting with a specific key and then trying out all the diatonic chords in the scale..... for example C major has Cmajor Dminor Eminor Fmajor Gmajor Aminor and Bdiminished

Your piano always sounds great!! how do you achieve that sound?
Jesús loves to use more electric piano sounds in his playing.... usually they are called 'epiano' or something close
i might be wrong but why doesn't Dminor11 has the F & A note in it ? You guys are playing D D G C E G but it can also be G/csus2 , any minor 11 chord is formed by using the - 1 b3 5 b7 9 11 notes. But u guys haven't used them.

Jesús Molina is from Colombia
woow, beautiful
Thank you! 😊
Quick question! How do you avoid gaps in your playing? The song I'm learning right now I'm not moving my left hand fast enough to the next key.
You could also just practice that specific jump over and over being as slow as it needs to be to maintain accuracy of course. You’ve got this. 👊🎹
What is a “grade” please ? I am a newbie…
Just another way of saying degree of the scale. For instance- A is the 3rd note in the F major scale, he referred to it as grade 3
@@steveriggio8810 thank you very much Steve for your prompt and concise reply …now I understand.. you stay safe (covid) and take care now

"Lets pick a Key"... Me saying to myself please be C please be C!!! "lets go for F"... Dam it!!!
Why am I crying 😭
its too beautiful :( :( :(
❤❤❤
He is himesh reshamiya brother he is the one behind all his songs who plays piano bcz i never seen himesh playing piano
They make it look so easy 😭
it is their gift, it is their curse!
Jesus Molina - You are God...
Love this... But, notes have LETTERS!?
Notes can be represented using numbers or letters
0:08
Beautiful but very confusing. Grades?
you can think of grades like the number system! its just a translation thing
Also called degrees. It's simply this: play a C scale but just say the number of each note: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8. So C is 1. E is 3. That means E is the 3rd degree or 3rd grade of the key of C.
