exeter was bladee having a breakthrough, 333 was him finding a new worldview, the fool was him coming back to the real world as a new man, and spiderr is him struggling again after all the knowledge he's gained
@@halohalo3029 I think good luck was an exercise in the process of making music. Trendy seems like Bladee is hinting at making more accessible music to spread a message, and good luck was like practice for understanding pop
Love videos like this were Bladee & DG are actually taken seriously instead of all the overdone memes and shit. Don't get me wrong, its fun to make the usual DG jokes about how you can't play them around your friends or how the music is "shit" but you get used to it... but Bladee is unironically a musical genius and makes amazing music with good lyrics if you take the time to invest in them.
I appreciate the more minute track by track breakdown. I found out when the Spiderr tracklist was announced that Whonda Mountain had been involved in some of the visual direction for Red Light back in 2018. I forgot the specifics, but it's worth looking into
Bladee’s newest drain journey really started with Vanilla Sky, literally everything past vanilla sky has been more poppy and bright than everything before vanilla sky. l hate when drain old heads talk about gluee and eversince like it’s his best when he’s been THRIVING eversince 2019
Yeah that’s a really good point. I’ve enjoyed each phase of bladee’s music. I mean being completely honest, I hated how his music sounded when I first heard it around 2016. I didn’t get it. But then it clicked and he became my favorite artist. I really appreciate that he is a constantly evolving artist and pushing out new sounds. Overall, as an artist he’s opened my eyes to realize that all music is expressive and effective at communicating the feeling behind it. Even if as a listener you may not enjoy or understand that feeling on your first listen
theres a reason the RYM ratings and Bladee's cultural and aesthetic relevance to esoteric internet spheres have plummeted since 2019 :PppPppPppPpppppPppPp
Hey! Wondha Mountain is the guy who appears in the Legendary Member video, and he's also know as OD9 (yep, the one referenced in "feel like OD9 I'm a dragon" in obedient"). Alongside his dabbling with music, he's also does some fashion stuff and I believe he's been their stylist multiple times :)))
I have this conspiracy theory that bladee contacted or romanced some sort of goddess DMT entity or part of the divine feminine or something and that his progression from Exeter to Spiderr is about his relationship with this entity or the realms she inhabits. Who knows what the truth is but I hope bladees in a good place.
i'm convinced we listened to two different albums this entire album is pandering meme-tier spirituality coal whose lyrics are out of a LLM. the fact that you didnt recognize Wondha or bladee's hardcore punk snippet says it all really

what about Good Luck? You skipped it
@@halohalo3029 Bladee or mecha said the concept behind good luck was basically just “let’s try to make straight pop music”
