I have this very bad habit of overplaying one song by a newly "discovered" artist in fear that I might not enjoy the rest of their music. That is what I have been doing with Yeek's "Only in the west" but I'll be sure to scour through the rest of his catalog.
i found out about this guy a while ago. just saw him in concert last night. he sounds so good live and his energy was great. my friend knows him and his brother simon. crowd moshed to shake and only in the west. even got pictures with him after too. so glad u made this video!
i'm so proud of him. i remember listening to one of his songs on spotify and it instantly caught my attention and ever since then i've been listening to his music non-stop. yeek deserves more recognition and his songs are so fucking good.
Man Yeek deserves so much recognition. His EP IDK Where is probably the best of his work so far, but his albums Love Slacker (2015) and Sebastian (2017) for sure are worthy of a mention. Love Slacker I feel is more indie rock inspired, but has some incredibly addictive songs, favourites of mine being Highways and Love Can Be. Sebastian is a lot more emotional, and bridges the gap between Love Slacker and IDK Where in terms of style. I adore every single song on this album, there isn’t a single track I haven’t listened to a thousand times. Notable favourites are Computerized Emotion and The Left. Sebastian is my personal favourite of Yeek’s discography. I think everyone should at least give Yeek a shot, he’s an incredible musician with some incredible music already
Your the only reason I got into this type of music and for the first time I finally got to an artist before which tells me you’ve introduced to a whole new world that I’ve been enjoying for a year +. Thanks
Seen yeek a couple times, and got lucky enough to talk to him after he played on my campus and other than being so incredibly talented, he’s super genuine and humble and grateful to his fans. He’s blowing up and deserves it so
Dope video. I first listened to Yeek when Cosmic Freeway was on a recommendation from Spotify. Not sure. But I just heard it one day, on a trip, not really sure what was going on in my life. I was floored. Yeek is awesome af. Didn't know about his brother and the Fike connection. Another awesome video. ✌👌
Super interesting, will def check him out on my ride in and outta work this morning. This seems like he and others right now like him are starting up what some are calling a post genre world. And honestly, I'm okay with it.
It’s crazy how much talent has come out of Florida, mainstream rap has been influenced a ton of people, Indie/Alternative R&B by Yeek and Fike, and Underground rap by Ghostemane and Pouya. It’s honestly crazy
Please do a video on Rejjie Snow. If you haven’t heard of him then obviously do your research first. When you are listening to his songs don’t forget his early work like Black Pancakes and Meddling Loops
While I think that he is good, hearing him drone on vocally through every song sounds like it is a chore for him. I just spend most of my time wanting something to happen in a song when it hardly ever does.
Could you do a video on max of homestead he’s a lot like Tyler the creator and I’m surprised that he only has a little over 1000 listeners on Spotify. Please do a video on him.
Yeek more like yeet (that into my playlist)
I love yeek I honestly thought he was black for the longest time till I searched him on yt a while ago
dude same
Same here because the first song I listened to by him was “only in the West” and the song cover was a picture of his friend but I thought it was him
love yeek, he deserves so much recognition

Dude yeek is so good, I've been listening to him about a year now
yeek is amazing i've been listening to him for a while. he deserves so much more recognition
Is there any genre he falls into like honestly...
I feel like he falls into a hip hop tropical indie wave when I listened to him.
To keep it simple I would say alt-pop.
i'm so proud of him. i remember listening to one of his songs on spotify and it instantly caught my attention and ever since then i've been listening to his music non-stop. yeek deserves more recognition and his songs are so fucking good.
Yeek is 🔥 and that’s dope you’re giving him shine and a platform for people to discover his music!

If you like Yeek & Dominic Fike y’all would enjoy my song called Fleeting Faces --> soundcloud.com/plutobenson/fleetingfaces
YESSSSSS HE NEEDS MORE PRAISE
I found yeek because of Dominic Fike. I think yeek is alright. Some of his songs are too boring.
