Why allow him to die, what so she could forever feel guilty, no he should of lived and allowed her to walk away on her own terms with some dignity and leave him to dwell in pain and regret.
This show is not bad at all! Not like some typical stories where the lady always goes back to the guy who mistreated her so badly. Also I kind of like this ending bcause no one really deserves him in the end. The lady deserves better too after whatever she went thru…

Not only China but all over the world women are treated like this. I remember when I was young I was told to sit like this, don’t talk to boys don’t answer back never let out to meet friends, and took all the crap but then I rebelled against and I now those who wish to mess with me have to think twice. Thankfully I brought up my daughter to think for herself and not be bullied and she learnt give only kindness and sternness if dealing with anyone, this drama really made me feel ashamed of the directors and producers. I pity the atmosphere they are surrounded in to use a girl with no knee to be brought to so much even if it’s acting.

These kind of short movie always revolves around a vicious step-sister, sister-in law or step mother. And offcourse a clueless male lead who's so easy to be manipulated. 🤷♀️

I was so scared that she will go back to him. With the amount of pain he cost her; she better not go back.

Well I don’t feel sorry for him even if he died for her because it was him who have kill his own child. He let other ppl bully her and kill her child so he was equally guilty with them. I skip most of it.
I cried with her when she jump off too. So sad she lost her leg for him and what did he do… he humiliated her tortured let ppl bully her. I cried when the ppl were laughing at her taking her foot away he didn’t even help her.

What is up with these ml; only seeing the stupid pendent necklace… the that person automatically gets to be his favorite. And like he has no ears to listen and no eyes to see right from wrong. His judgement is lost forever… doesn’t care if that person is good or bad as long as they have the pendent necklace their words is worth millions. Sever him right he lost his life.

Honestly, I expected that the ending are happy ending that's why I have the guts to watch this even though the drama show how red flag the ml is... But I think the ending of the drama gave justice on how the ml treat fl. I can say that the drama are good but you really need more tissue because this drama can make you cry...😢
FL looks like an actress who plays a lot of villains, I wasn't convinced by this Cinderella role, but it wasn't bad, it's that her impression of the villain got strong on me.

Satisfied with this ending, even after sacrificing himself, FL still didn't forgive him. Which is never the case in these dramas.
ML has no right for reveange on those who bullied FL as he instigated all the abuse, which shows his character.

he doesn't deserved forgiveness because of his stupidity.he didn't believed her even once.just being fooled of what he saw when he's always coming late.he didn't even trust what he feels whenever they're together.he just let her being bullied ,humiliated and totally abused by the great pretenders, he also hurt her many times using his own hand especially when he crippled her arms😭😭😭he killed his own child ,he always forced her to take medicines ,while it was him who needs a medicine for foolishness.he must forever suffer for the thought of finally found his savior and one great love but he lost it at the same time and hate him so much.not really good ending.what happened to grandma and to her dad ?was the killer girl have been even chased ?😢😢😢

It is almost same as she forgiving and getting back with him. The second ML leads acting so generous , as more of a torture. Seeing a photo , maker his wife abort the child. Why the fuck does it matter who is hibascus. The audacity of cdrama writers to show ML sad to gain sympathy is commendable.
To be honest, if he didn't die, I think she would have stayed with him. The KOF(knife of forgiveness) scene she looked like she was willing to risk the abuse again.

One thing that makes me wonder is that the police in China are not secured. It seems that in all cdramas, the bad guys always escape to harm the FL, and the ML takes it, although he was the cause of all the mess.
The best character is the actress impersonated FL , atleast she told things genuinely the last 2,3 lines to the ML. Want story to end with that actress taking over all assets of ML and torturing him for a lifetime
This story is happy ending for me because that guy deserves what happen to him in the end.
