  • Lt. Gov. @mikelkehoe has racked up a lot of institutional support for his Missouri gubernatorial bid - including from some labor unions that also back Democratic candidates, such as the Missouri State Council of Firefighters.
During an episode of the Politically Speaking Hour on @stlonair, host @jasonrosenbaum (who, for full disclosure, has been or is part of two unions) asked whether he would sign legislation instituting “right to work.” That’s the term supporters use to describe a law that would bar unions and employers from requiring workers to pay dues as a condition of employment.
While noting that he’s supported right to work in the past, Kehoe emphasized that he’s tried to have a good working relationship with organized labor - even when they disagree. He also said he would have to see specific legislation before stating whether he’d sign or veto any proposal.
“We're going to disagree on things, but for the most part, putting men and women to work and improve the state's economy is something that's very important,” he said.

The "Oust Kehoe" movement is gaining strength as conservative voters put a break on giving their votes to yet another Rino Republican.
