Historicamente ligado ao mar e à vela, Portugal recebe a competição The Tall Ships Races 2016 em Lisboa, de 22 a 25 de Julho. Este evento único tem lugar durante a celebração do 60º aniversário do The Tall Ships Races, realizado pela primeira vez entre Torbay (Reino Unido) e Lisboa (Portugal) em 1956, com o intuito de manter vivas as tradições dos grandes navios de vela. Devido ao grande sucesso do evento de 1956, as regatas The Tall Ships Races têm lugar anualmente, proporcionando aventuras desafiantes e promovendo o espírito de equipa, auto-conhecimento e os intercâmbios culturais a bordo dos Tall Ships. Os Gigantes do Mar estão de volta a Lisboa, no Terminal de Cruzeiros de Santa Apolónia!
Historically connected to the sea and sailing, Portugal welcomes the competition The Tall Ships Races 2016 in Lisbon from 22 to 25 July. This unique event takes place during the celebration of the 60th anniversary of The Tall Ships Races, first held between Torbay (UK) and Lisbon (Portugal) in 1956, in order to keep alive the traditions of the great sailing ships. Due to the great success of the 1956 event, the regattas The Tall Ships Races are held annually, providing challenging adventures and promoting team spirit, self-knowledge and cultural exchanges aboard the Tall Ships. The Giants of the Sea are back to Lisbon, at the Cruises Terminal in Santa Apolónia!
