    My grips are almost wore down to the elements. Still original on my 2008 R1200GSA. Can any grip work? The ones I use on my dirtbike are great

    Good job. Are the grips more comfortable than the originals? It's also a good idea to get the soldering iron out and re-solder the two power wires that attach to the heating element. A known source of failure when grips aren't very warm.

      yes they are and i did have to re solder the wires
