28 minutes of a CEO basically saying nothing. I was hoping to hear something that made me hopeful for Yahoo, but instead got 28 minutes of fluff and smiles... To have a major web company not have anything exciting on the table doesn't bode well for its future.
The problem with Yahoo is that it's not one thing specifically. It's a little of everything. Kinda like Google. But Google does it good. Yahoo does it bad. It's slide so far down the slide that at this point there's no going back. Yahoo hasn't been cool since circa 2003. It's like trying to bring back myspace.
Tried using yahoo screen for one day and it's missing so many basic features, but WOW their news digest app is awesome, flickr is so much better now compare to before. I hope Yahoo can focus more on user experience, content organization and redesign their yahoo screen. The video contents on yahoo screen are mostly rubbish.
the font that yahoo mail uses sucks so badly that it discourages me to check my mails. seriously... and i don't really like gmail either, god please give me a better mail service...
Ray Tek it's just like gmail but with the outlook domain. Microsoft is using their outlook brand for the office software and also for the normal gmail like email service. It's basicly their hotmail but rebranded to outlook. Excuse my bad english.
Bottom line: CEOs are suppose to be the biggest company cheerleader. The boat could be sinking but the its the CEO's job is to say everything is fine, we're doing GREAT.
After watching this and being an occasional Yahoo user (flickr, email years ago, yahoo news etc) I took her recommendation and installed News digest. Seems pretty good actually, nice design and interface. Seems promising. Let's see...
Man, I have seen tons of TechCrunch interviews conducted by Michael Arrington and one conclusion I havd been able to come it is that Arrington is a TERRIBLE interviewer.
Look at Janet Reno yuck... i remember the movie King Ralph a good looking woman to marry and as soon as she spoke yuck.... but the thing that sucks about the human race is from Elementary school we judge people for the way we look because psychologically we are in secure about ourselves. I have dated model type women and what jerks later they became but i still have female friends that are off looking and very loyal friends....
I cannot believe she'd sit down with this pig of a man for a second year after the vile rude attitude he took last time. Hasn't learnt anything this is almost an exact repeat

I think you might be confused between a keynote and an interview.
Confused why Yahoo even exists. But great for the upcoming entrepeneurs trying to get some of that dead Yahoo Alibaba money.

best mail is outlook.com. very clean from microsoft
but does it really work with free mail service? i use outlook for work, but for personal emails i don't know how can i setup into outlook...
