Back in 2007, me and my dad were just talking about the daleks, my Dad told me about Davros and how he used to scare him and that he was the creator of the daleks. When I saw this trailer in 2008 I shouted at the screen and went " THATS DAVROS!!!!!" I couldnt wait to tell my dad! :D
almost every species in the universe has an irrasional fear of the dark but the're wrong cuz' its not irrasional its vashda nerada! Whos seen those episodes?? BEST EPISODES EVERRR!!!
I also love the 8th Doctor's console room from the movie. Not very practical but it seemed so classic and elegant. Personally I'd like to see more of the interior of the TARDIS. 4th Doctor era we saw various rooms, also including Romana's bedroom, and a swimming pool. Now surely with the budget that DW has now, they can afford to make an interior and show a few inside TARDIS shots.
Davros is from Skaro - his top half is that of the 'unevolved' form of the Dalek Mutants. What they were supposed to look like before Davros used machines to advance the species to the end of its evolutionary chain. He's not half-human
I compleatly agree with you. It's time for an update. Plus with Moffat taking over the idea for a new console and a new intro would be ideal. Not sure how anything can top the coral background but we do need something new and spiffy.
YAY i've been waiting for a trailer for this for such a long time :D i wish they'd put characters like Captain Jack and Mickey in here though, but never mind its got plenty of Rose in it and thats what i'm most pleased about :D

The green-coral look was cute but its about time we saw an overhaul of the console room. I mean, the original console room lasted for three Doctors - if the Tenth IS regenerating then its about time the console was changed... hell the FOURTH doctor got two new console rooms in his era :P

pfft My fav console will ALWAYS be the one from the Television movie... if I can't pick that one though, I'd pick the fourth doctors wooden console room - always reminded me of 'the time machine' by H.G Wells

She won't, Davis and the woman that plays her says that she's just in this for two episodes. That wasn't the Time Vortex though... it was too small and it looked more like some form of tractor-beam
The lack of practicality can be attributed to every single TARDIS console room lol especially the newest one. The lack of ANY cushioning whatsoever always bothered me... what if one of the characters wanted to take a nap or something? Or just sit down? Those duct-tape covered seats hardly looked inviting :P
I think shes his grandaughter or daughter, because he said she knew his real name, and only rose knows that. So rose might have told their kid, or her grandchild that. Also roses mum was havin another kid, so that might be her or jackies grandkid. But when the doctor and rose are saying goodbye he sort of asks her if shes pregnant, so sommin happened between them, maybe she lied because she didnt want him to be distracted by knowing he had a child he may never see, coz rose sort of hesitated.
00:41 - he looks to be in some sort of Tractor beam 00:42 - why isn't the doctor on fire while the TARDIS is on fire?! Get some perspective :P 00:43 - its gotta be 00:35 - in a way that involves burning stars up

Harriet Jones = Davros. That would be rather... annoying. Partly due to the fact she'd have to get out her ID card all the time "Harriet Jones, creator of the Daleks". And I made a guess that "the big D", whoever they turn out to be, started making Daleks out of stars. But that'd be a bit too similar to the first series (humans instead of stars) wouldn't it?

Martha will always be last for ME. i personally find that she can't act at all, her script could be better, and she ruined some good episodes for me.
