Purchased a 960GB Kingston A400 from an eBay seller for just over AU$33 which turned out to be fake. Fortunately, I ran some tests to see if I could fill the drive first before trusting it with any sort of data as mine, too, had the 6V sticker on it.

Never trust your data to a single drive no matter how reliable it is.

A customer brought a SSD powered laptop that according to him was slower than when it used to have HDD. Plus corrupted SO. I removed the disk because I was losing my shit, it was slow as an U2 SD card and unstable.
Thanks to this video I can confirm the red LED and the warranty sticker are the most notable signs of a counterfeit A400.

For more it is useless to buy original, I ordered a lot from Kingston precisely the original DELTRON A400 960g and these are very bad, I would say as bad as a Chinese, what do I mean in the writing speed that did not exceed 50 mb /s in many of the tests and the read one like 350 mb/s tested on several computers, these get slow after 25% fill, I thought they were pirated or failed (check with the Kingston APP and serial), but No, so a client brought a laptop with this same model and it behaved the same, at the beginning it marked a good speed and then it fell noisily when you filled it up. I realized why I copied information immediately, I also had to finish them off and even give them away, because They behaved like this, the A400 480g does not behave like this, for me the last Kingston that I buy,
