- I volunteered for a week at Elephant Nature Park, in Chiang Mai Thailand from January 13-19th, 2020. I wanted to share this video to showcase my experiences while I was there in case anyone else was curious about doing this. So, what's it like? (Short answer- Amazing!). A forever home sanctuary, Elephant Nature Park takes in and helps rehabilitate elephants from abusive situations like tourism and logging and the like. Elephants are cared for and free to live out their days in peace. ENP does NOT do elephant rides or any other type of elephant "show". The only shows you'll see are put on by people from the local area. This was shot using a gopro hero4, hero 7, Insta360 One X and Insta360 GO. Check out what else I did while I was in Thailand here: • My day in Chiang Mai J... #elephantnaturepark #elephants

Thank you so much for this! You have no idea how much this gave me the needed push to finally do it!
Thank YOU! this made my day! I hope you have a great time!
Yes, I agreed with you if we can save one elephant at a time, better than saving none.
as the saying goes... you can't change the world, but you can change one person's ( elephant, or other animal's) world. :) Thanks for watching.
You make me wish I could make the trip to ENP; how I would love to experience this amazing place and the wonderful people who unite to help make it a better world for us all, no matter how many legs we have. Blessed Be!
Thank you I am glad I am able to share that for you! i shot some 360 video too if you want to see more.. ruclips.net/video/FjpLHhg6fFw/видео.html
In 1987 I go to Thailand for stop over to Australia. I cannot go too Chiang Mai. I must stay in plain. I see now a modern airport. Very special with comfort for traveling.
Hi, Thanks for watching.. I had to take a plane from Chiang Mai to Hong Kong ( about 2-3 hour flight). and then board at Hong Kong for my main international flight back to NY. But the chiang Mai airport is a decent size and modern. Easy to navigate and lot's of restaurants too.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us
You're welcome! Thanks for checking it out! :)
pro trick: you can watch movies at kaldrostream. I've been using it for watching all kinds of movies during the lockdown.
@Alexzander Colten Yea, I have been using kaldroStream for since november myself :D
@Alexzander Colten Definitely, I've been watching on kaldroStream for years myself :D
Beautiful Video, Thank you
Thank you and thanks for checking it out! :)
This is great. Thanks so much. Great to see the motley crew of volunteers. The opening scenes looked a bit 50 Shades of Sh..... but that's understandable ... the park always looks so clean and tidy on the videos ... thanks to the armies of volunteers. I want to go too. 🙏🙏
Thanks for watching! !t was an amazing and such a memorable experience! I'd love to get back there some day!
@@rmdragon2 Really hope you make it. I think if TV channels across the world just put out 5 minutes of footage daily during children's hour, then little ones would grow up with a wholly alternative world view.
@@Wendyj55 Thanks. I agree and also- I think the film Love & Bananas should be required viewing in all schools.
@@rmdragon2Haven't heard of that ... will give it a Google. Thanks.
Great job and thank you 😊
คุณตั้งใจบินมาไมยเพื่อมาเป็นอาสาสมัคร ขอชื่นชมจริงๆครับ

Hi Lek
I was wanting to know about the elephants you rescue
Why do you walk them back to ENP especially when they have injured feet & struggle to walk.
Keep up the good work
I'm sure the majestic elephants appreciate you
Hi there, Thanks for watching a commenting on my video.. However I'm not affiliated with Lek or ENP.
1st place I will go, once open.
Awesome! I hope that you will!
we really would like to do that as well, but you have to pay for it, right? is there not a way to work for an accommodation and food maybe?!
Hi, it really was a very affordable price and all meals and accommodations were included for the week even transportation to and from Chiang Mai. The way I see it is that my time helping out but also the money spent was all for a good cause. The whole trip though a total of 10 days.. with airfare and such, really was affordable… and given enough time and planning was easily manageable financially.
