Phuket Elephant Sanctuary

This was our girls dream day come true. She has been obsessed with elephants since she was very little and this was the perfect day! We started our day with a short drive to the village into the grounds of the sanctuary. We then watched a short video that had most of us in tears learning about why these beautiful animals needed protection and also what a great organization this is to save and rehabilitate the elephants. After the video, we got to get up close and feed one of the elephants before starting our walk into the sanctuary to meet some more elephants.
