  • This video will guide you how to add a NLB features using Windows Server 2016.
    We have 1 domain controller acting as the heartbeat for the 2 remote desktop servers.
    NLB will help you to achieve a minimum high availability when 1 server down using the Windows Server features only

    I want to Know.
    If I have 5 Machines Connected to one Network Controller.
    Where Is Users Directory Folder Located?
    In Case of Of My Machine is Down then will that Machine Users will be Relocated to another Machine Automatically.

      No, if your machine is down then those users will lose connection to their session. They will be able to start a new session and the other machine will connect. It is important to right click the down session host machine from the collection pool, then click "Do not allow new connections." This will ensure that no user will be improperly connected to the downed machine. Sometimes the down machine is just "hung-up" due to network load balancing not being enabled and will try and connect users if not taken out of the collection round robin.

      Q: Where Is Users Directory Folder Located
      A: The user directories on each session host will be held uner C:\users. The .vhd profiles will be located wherever you have designated the Profile role to be installed. The profile role is usually installed on an APP or Connection Broker server.
