You have taught me more in the past 15 minutes of watching videos than I have learned in many many years of casual soldering for RC stuff. Very helpful stuff. Thank you. You should provide some product links that earns you some $. I would follow and buy stuff from there to reward you.
Empty teabags seem to work pretty well too for small spots. (I steep my tea in a teapot even if the tea comes in bags.) More pliable than coffee filters but also less absorbent.
depend on your flux type and components on pcb. If use water soluble flux, you can clean with warm water, and careful with plastic components, it can melt if use strong solvent
Es tan relajante ver tus videos. Muy buen canal sigue así. Podrias hacer un video mostrando lo que utilizas para grabar y el procedimiento de edición seria interesante.
Actually, the flux removes any oxidation on the metal that would have otherwise prevented further oxidation, thereby revealing fresh metal that gets oxidized further until the whole connection is gone. So, it is recommended to clean the flux for long term reliability.
Thank you so much for the amazing work and for delivering to us the best recording quality, watching you soldering is so satisfying.
I second that

I find that clean, new coffee filters work quite well for this purpose.
Very clear and instructive. Congrats!
Very informative video, waiting for a new one. Thank you, you spent a lot of time
In a pinch you can also use paper coffee filters. Better than toilet paper, not as good as KimWipes.
What are you using for flux remover?
Hope you upload more videos like this again!
a "where to buy them" would be wonderful, it seems to me impossible to find in EU
Just let the wet wipes dry, and use them. Good luck!
Awesome, where exactly can I find those cottom wipes?
Pleasee... Where did you buy this container? I'm in love with this...
i buy at local store, if want to buy you can search : liquid dispenser bottle
They have it on Banggood for cheap
is there any other alternatives to clean flux instead using just alcohol?

What about ultrasonic cleaner?
@Pyotr Ilych Tchaikovsky it will not hurt any semiconductors, capacitors and so on?
@@Kris-82 You should never use ultrasonic for cleaning a PCB with soldered quartz on it.
@@a.g.6171 thanks for the info!
I bought some manicurist wipes to try , they are supposed to be lint free
Thinking the same, did it work?
Useful video 👍
Is any problem if leave flux on the bards? I don't have alcohol, so I never clean my jobs.
The worst can be that layer protects the circuits from oxidation :))

Androkavo = a proper soldering school
What kind of brush you use?
he use bdsm fetish brush.. they have it on amazon.
I used to leave flux there, it protects the joints from oxidation.

@@VikasVJois I think it removes oxides only when under soldering iron. Please share if you find any documentation on this topic
why is it important to clean flux?
Where to buy such a brush?
where do you buy Bemcot M-3 wipes?
Nice video ! Thank you !
good
Alcohol is good, but ethyl acetate (C4H8O2) is IMHO much more better. I think, you should try. :)
Piotr K Is that the same one people use for nails?
Toilet paper is designed NOT to be strong when wet, so it disintegrates easily in the sewer system.
Ótima comparação, vídeo excelente
thank you for this video
very good 😊
i use only kimtech, it works pertectly, it's clean with it
schoolboy, go back to playing with your kids toys and let the adults talk about kimwipe in here...
