Thank you for sharing your hike, Star Lake looked like an idyllic place to camp.

Thanks for watching! Star Lake was quite beautiful. Many of the immediate campsites filled up pretty early on a Saturday, but it seemed like there were many more sites further in, plus there were some slightly more exposed sites just past the lake (CW).

Was that a pinecone made of fruit? 😆 Beautiful country, travelling can be a real pain but you made it to Flavor Country!

Haha I was thinking some sort of tropical fruit or a flower!

You did it! Congradulations! Was chatting with you in your planning video briefly. Did you notice the brown trout everywhere along the lakeside and especially at the outlet there where you cross the log jam? Was kicking myself wishing I'd brought some line along

Thanks!! I did notice the many fish in the lake. I would imagine this area along with Desolation Wilderness would be great for fishing!

Nice smooth footage. hoping to do this in 2024 with the wife. Did you film this with a camera? What did you edit with. Really enjoying.

Thanks for watching! I just used an iphone for filming and imovie for editing. I’d like to upgrade the software for editing though!
I hope you have a great hike in 2024! It’s a beautiful trail, just make sure to be aware of the dry sections on the east side of the lake!
