If you're riding around a little off the beaten track in the Himalayas, a moderately powerful, lightweight bike like this is fabulous. If you're not from India, you'll not understand the kind of roads we are used to riding on. you don't need more power than this 'scooter' offers. There is rarely a stretch of highway where you can cross 150 KPH or an offroad track where you will need more than 30 something BHP. Anything more is mainly showing off for the people who can afford to spend 10 times the annual average income of an Indian.
After watching this review I couldn’t stop myself making a comment like this, he sounded more like shaming and comparing it with some top end bikes and his experiences than reviewing it,but you did the job well mate! So coherently spoken. Cheers 👍🏻
Thank you for this honest and informative review. I've watched over 15 reviews of the G310GS, and I found this to be the best well rounded overall observation.
I think you have the best bike reviews on You Tube. You don't sweat the small insignificant stuff and you only focus on what's relevant. You do a great job putting yourself in potential buyer' perspective.
Thank you for the review. I would love to go on off-road adventures and as a female rider I was looking at that bike because I want a lightweight and small bike. Your video did answer a lot of questions.
I bought mine couple days ago waiting for delivery. I need to refresh my skills before I hope on the other bike (Tenere) and get used to 2 wheel fun again
I watched a lot of videos including yours which helped me make my choice, I purchased a new 2020 G310GS but waiting for it to be shipped to me because of covid
How about a comparison of 310GS vs CB500X? I’d guess they both appeal to much the same group of riders. Your reviews are awesome by the way. Great channel 👍👍
This really looks like an ideal option for a beginner and I'm encouraging my sister, who wants to learn to ride, to get one of these so we can do some lite ADV riding together! Thanks for sharing your insight so completely - very helpful and encouraging!
Thank you for the reviews. WR250r is sitting around the same price range, has 27hp, max speed of 140km/h, and weights 40kg less than this bike. Can do all the things exactly the same fashion, with much greater agility and offroad capability. Honda CB500X has the same weight like 310GS, but offers more bike. A quick suggestion would be; You should make at least a comparison with similar bikes to differenciate their pros/cons with eachother. So potential buyers will have a much clearer picture of their needs. Without comparison reviews have a tendency to perceived as a commercial. Just sayin.
Also, as far as I know, the G310GS is a bit more street-focused than the WR. But we'll make a comparison. And maybe we'll also find a Honda CRF250L or Rallye
Israel Santos the wr250r and wr250x are both road versions wr250f is the off road version but still fully road legal just very basic wrong gearing for road etc
Great review! It is aimed at countries like India, Brazil, etc, where a 125cc or 150cc are the most common, so a 300cc or 600cc is kind of a big deal. I'm thinking about BMW 310GS or Kawasaki Versys 300X as a starter adv bike. I wish it was 400cc.
It's a good bike but one issue for Imdia it's maintenance cost that is in higher side compare to compitition also this is devloped by TVS after that it's expensive....
Nice review,it touch points.. Like been said;it's cheap entry to join GS prestige club,it's meant for Asian market..the price is expensive if you compare the specs with its contenders.. In my opinion the Kawi Versys300X wins.. there are mods like Rally Raid kit that turn the 310 to True GS, a really beautiful adv Tourer..but the cost is hifty..
Dankeller69 Same got 2012 SERTAO. With proper knobblies can go anywhere just keep speed sensible off road. Was looking at G310gs and crf250l but sertao is a better choice, extra weight is lost with sensible off road speed. And on road 105mph....
Always a great job man. I am going to test it today and i am pretty sure I will sign the contract. I have a little girl,I will not make long trips on bike, I will use it to go to work and little adventure ridings when I have time. I love Honda crf 250 rally but I think the BMW, with his 34 hp and a lower seat will be more versatile.
I have a Ducati Scrambler 1100 but need a commuter bike for bad weather (most of the year in the UK) I think this might do, any ideas I do about twenty miles a day round trip.
Great review. I just posted my 1000 mile unbiased owners review a few min. ago. The more I ride mine, the even more I love the little flea. hahahaha! I threw on a set of Kenda BigBlock K784 tires, turned it into a awesome trail climber!
I'm in the same boat, but honestly the KTM didn't impress me, and here in the US, the KTM is more expensive than the BMW. So I think I'll go for the BMW.

I M FROM MANALI AND I UNDERSTAND YOU BRO
Im not Indian but to the west anything thats not a 1000cc and above is an entry level. That’s ridiculous
The best review on the BMW G310GS on RUclips! A must see prior to considering buying this motorcycle.
Thank you for this honest and informative review. I've watched over 15 reviews of the G310GS, and I found this to be the best well rounded overall observation.

Glad you like them!
Your accent reminds me of Borat... Nice to meet you... Hifi...
Very nice !
My sister is best prostitute in the village...
Great review, thank you! You looked really happy riding it, that says it all.
Take care
Thank you for the review. I would love to go on off-road adventures and as a female rider I was looking at that bike because I want a lightweight and small bike. Your video did answer a lot of questions.
@poly niki: have you bought the bike?
X pluse
RIP. Still miss you reviews!
Haha, when he says Baby GS it sounds like Baby Jesus.
I bought mine couple days ago waiting for delivery. I need to refresh my skills before I hope on the other bike (Tenere) and get used to 2 wheel fun again
Cool little bike. Nice review.

I think your English is very good considering it is not your native language. Well done.
It is debatable if he is speaking good English. But for non native speakers it is more than enough
marc 7 his grammar is better than mine lmao
I just bought mine today same color
Best presentation of review this bike, thanks from🇮🇳🇮🇳🙏
Brave and skilled to ride offroad without crash bars.
RIP to Cristian Predoi, the rider in the video.
That sucks. RIP Rider
What is that smooth soundtrack in the begging?
Great bike. Motorad UK offers a lot of the upgrades mentioned.
My dream bike. Saving for it.
this is the review good gob well done
Do you consider this a good first buy, starter, bike?
It's a starter adv bike, G310r would be better learner bike
spaceman123 gs310 is more comfortable and space for legs in pegs instead of faithfully wrapping your legs around the tank like a runaway missle..
I cant wait for my bike to arrive. FYI, you can get side bags and cases for the bike, no problem.
Thanks you’ve helped me decide on a 2021 purchase
great video thank you, i like your presentation style and videography. i bought this bike and im impressed with it. its very nice 🙂
I'm hoping to get a 23 model in a few weeks. Have you had any disapointments yet? What are your favorite things about it? Best wishes to you. Be safe!
thank you very much , really helped me to make up my mind
Your standing position on the Bike is just funny 😂
I love this Channel, great review, funny little bike, but great video, cheers 👍
very good English bro! is getting better!
Great scenery...
I'd like this guy to review the f35😄
How about a comparison of 310GS vs CB500X? I’d guess they both appeal to much the same group of riders.
Your reviews are awesome by the way. Great channel 👍👍
Been looking for exactly this comparison!
Really nice narrative of complete end to end GS🙂
I love your reviews. Great accent too!
Your english is very good to understand. Watching from Brazil 🇧🇷
Oh you call English inglish
Yes *english
It would be nice to see a price with dual purp tires on off road worthy rims.
In india a 310 cc bike is a big deal
Romania is beautiful! Nice review. Multumesc din Israel
Salutare felicitari!Pe un de ati filmat, este frumos traseul!
This really looks like an ideal option for a beginner and I'm encouraging my sister, who wants to learn to ride, to get one of these so we can do some lite ADV riding together! Thanks for sharing your insight so completely - very helpful and encouraging!
Thanks for watching. It's a good option for beginners, indeed.
Where is that beautiful forest, I want to go there! Great video and review! Thumbs up and subscribed!!

cool review. My next bike in a few month!
I am interested in buying a used one of these to leave at my mums for holidays in France.. Makes Sense
Nice review 👌 good job Bro
Great review, what about long term reliability?
Bother Himalayan or g310gs is to buy good
Excellent review. Thanks.

Bithynian Thanks for watching. We also have some comparisons in our mind. We'll start making them soon
Also, as far as I know, the G310GS is a bit more street-focused than the WR. But we'll make a comparison. And maybe we'll also find a Honda CRF250L or Rallye
I would imagine the cb500x is a lot heavier than the g310gs. 169.5kg vs 195kg
is the wr250r road legal? If not, how can I make it?
Israel Santos the wr250r and wr250x are both road versions wr250f is the off road version but still fully road legal just very basic wrong gearing for road etc
Enjoy your channel, thks for the reviews.
Great review!

I'm thinking about BMW 310GS or Kawasaki Versys 300X as a starter adv bike. I wish it was 400cc.
Wow! Looks like a great adv bike for my wife or sister! It could easily do a long distance trip that involves some dual track or fire roads!
Excellent review, thank you.
The Kawasaki Versys X300 will out perform it in every aspect. Also it is made in JAPAN, not in India. I still love the video, and honest facts. 👍
Very nice location to review this bike. Very nice review too.😁
Thank you! I think I will buy it !
Good review!
Thx man.. lovely bike :)
I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO GETTING BACK INTO MOTORCYCLING, ON THIS BIKE!!... THANKS FOR THIS REVIEW!! WHERE WERE YOU RIDING?!...(IN THE MOUNTAINS)
Nice review I think. And it is a GS, so can't expect to ride like a trail bike.
This guy is basically Niko from GTA IV
Nice one, ty
Cel mai bun review, felicitări!
Nice video i always watch your review coz i like ur accent
Very interesting bike!
It's a good bike but one issue for Imdia it's maintenance cost that is in higher side compare to compitition also this is devloped by TVS after that it's expensive....

Top job mate!
Very positive man, good review and great bike. Tnx dude.
Thanks.
I was going to elect a different bike but the Russian has effected my decision. It happening quite often lately
Umm...!? The number plates says actually that he is in Romania
Nordwind its a joke. Americans think anyone with an Eastern European accent is Russian.
@@nordwind8689 To be fair, Romanian accent is pretty slavic sounding to foreigners, even though its a romance language.
@@Koivisto147 it preserves a lot of features of Latin which are gone from French or Spanish.
" you can ride it hard , open the throttle. , push it fast and you realise life is very simple "
Foarte tare! Bravo!
Interesting review and his accent is funny... thumbs up for you
I was looking at one and ended up getting a g650gs sertao 2013 model
Dankeller69 Same got 2012 SERTAO. With proper knobblies can go anywhere just keep speed sensible off road. Was looking at G310gs and crf250l but sertao is a better choice, extra weight is lost with sensible off road speed. And on road 105mph....

I have a question ... is it comfortable?
I have a Ducati Scrambler 1100 but need a commuter bike for bad weather (most of the year in the UK) I think this might do, any ideas I do about twenty miles a day round trip.
Thanks for a honest review.
Super cool...i like ur English accent...😊
Super review.
I don't see much sense in engineering, so i uplifted my sense for the feel of Motor a sheer fun and pure motorcycling;
Himalayan by RE.
gotta save for one of these!
Like your review. Thank you very much
great review
Where is this filmed? I also can’t quite nail down the accent.
Great approach and covering all questions that might arise when owning a small displacement commuter bike. Well done :)
Thank you Jessie, it's truly rewarding when people find our reviews helpful.
Thanks for the information 👍👍
In India we r waiting 4 this..

COYOTE ADVENTURES ..
.
COYOTE ADVENTURES
I like the crazy Russian dude. Nice review.
Romanian* . You know, - not only Russians have such kind of accent lol
Contemplating between buying KTM 390 ADV and BMW g310gs. Any recommendations?
I'm in the same boat, but honestly the KTM didn't impress me, and here in the US, the KTM is more expensive than the BMW. So I think I'll go for the BMW.
Will it be comfortable for the pillion ? And can we put side case mounting system ?
much needed upload
Good job..
Good review 👍
Another consideration would be the Versys X-300
i really wish to ride this one
What the differnt BMW G310GS and TVS APACHE 310RR..
Engine?
Power?
Price?
Try TVS APACHE 310RR soon.. i wanna know ur conclusion..
Foarte tare review-ul! Din curiozitate, in ce zona ati filmat?
