I made the clay embelishment trees last year. I used pallet wood to cut the shapes. I used several molds and they were lovely. I painted some bisque, then used a patina wax, and sprayed them with a satin poly. They looked like porcelain

I love the modern one everything you do is perfect spot on the only one that I can say that I could make in my eyes look a little better is your snowman with them out of the lantern? The hat sits on like a mixed smidgen of the deal I would take black fabric and put it up underneath there cause you use what you have an on hand so that’s that’s great too. I talk too much. Cut the material in a circle for the ball make a running stitch with a needle and thread but don’t cut the thread when you’re finished. Place the ball o top f the material and pull the needle which is attached to the thread to cover the ball…with the left over thread needle still attached you can sew up the hole where all the material meet in the center voila all done. Hope this helps….💗💗💗💗your diy’s.

Love, love, love these ideas! I have tried a bunch of air dry clay brands and I LOVE DAS also! Iron Orchid Designs makes the absolute best air dry clay, but my 2nd choice is definitely DAS!! I have found if I paint the clay BEFORE it dries, there is little to NO cracking versus waiting on it to dry. I learned this tip from the Provincial Farmhouse. She does alot of AWESOME thrift flips too.

I have not tried IOD clay yet I haven’t been able to find it I’m my area. But I love the idea of painting the clay before it dries I’ll have to try that out! Thank you for the tip
