- In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2011 Hyundai Azera Limited. Last generation for this body style and being redesigned for the 2012 model year. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

to be honest i prefer the old (06-11) Azera to the current (2012-present) ones...to me these just look better,both inside & out.
I know this comment is 3 years old, but I feel like I'm the only one who thinks the 2012-2016 Azera's are ugly. Like they went away from pushing the classy look to something more alien/sport-like (especially on the front). Same goes for the 2011-2014 Sonatas. I think they're getting back to a more classy-but-aggressive look with the 2015 Sonatas and Genesis inside and out. However I never liked the 2012-2016 Azeras at all.
No i Agree....i don't doubt the Newer Azera is a Nice car. just the old one has that Subtle yet upscale look.

The Hyundai Azera is the Hyundai Equivilent of a Lexus ES to me....its Luxurious and pretty well equipped.

I got a 2006 its still going strong 147,768 miles. I plan on getting the Genesis soon
The US model is amazing compared to what we get here in Australia. Our version only has a 5-speed auto, 3.8L with 260 hp! Our stereo is 8 speakers, not 12, and we don't get the option of a sunroof at all, nor GPS. We don't have indicators in the mirrors either. Of course, there's no XM radio in Australia, on any car, and no rear sunshade either.
Really? And I was thinking that our brazilian version lacked some things like the heated seats and the 3.8L engine (we only got the 3.3L). But compared to yours it's nothing.

Inside I'm getting a very "grandparents' car" feel but the outside is very nice, this was the best of that generation.
we have an 06 and it's a very nice car. This refresh suits it well, but I wish they would have updated the interior a little more.
I own a silver 2009 Azera(It's called Grandeur in here) it's 2.7 and I really love it!
Seats look comfy as hell.

I love the Azera and its a car that never disappoints either, plus it looks wayyyyyyyy better than a Camry and Accord.

True, but you've got to remember that the Azera was released a few years before the Genesis and according to Hyundai, since the new Sonata only comes with a 4 cylinder, the Azera is supposed to be for those people who insist on having a 6 cylinder. Who knows if it'll work out that way though?

@G35lover03 the Instrument Cluster is more Akin to the Optitrons found in Lexus Vehicles.
Such a shame we didn't get this 3.8L engine here in Brazil, only the 3.3L one.

Quite amazing how much Hyundai has...how do you say it......well, completely new level of quality and awesome style. Never though that Hyundai would reach such luxury and quality in their cars. I would now more gladly choose Hyundai than mercedes or other of these " known luxury cars "

@fvgotch I like the 2012 redesign images I've seen so far, but I just think that the interior too closely resembles the Sonata. With the 2012 new design, that will be three Hyundai vehicles with closely related "fluidic sculpture" styling (Sonata, Elantra, and Azera). Just my two cents :-)

@saabkyle04 Hyundai's doing some truly outstanding things, every time they prove to me they can do even better than before. However, I think they *may* discontinue the Veracruz, which is a shame because I'd love to see what they can do with it. But from what I hear it's had disappointing sales and internally they're considering discontinuing it.
I'd love to see you're video on the Veracruz, I really like that car it's in need or a refresh but the interior is amazing.

@anandecy3035 It's a bit different than that, the Avalon actually is a different car than the camry. The Avalon has an entirely different interior and exterior than the Camry, unlike the Azera which is simply a Sonata with a few *minor* design tweaks.

This Azera is looking a bit dated now compared to the newest in the Hyundai lineup but it is an indicator that it is headed in the right direction!

The Azera was/is intended to compete with the likes of the Toyota Avalon and the Nissan Maxima, whereas the Genesis is intended to compete with higher-ended cars

@05Forenza My point is, where the hell is the extra cash going? When you option out both the Azera is still more money in an outdated car.
24 000 miles on it pristine condition no scratches or scrapes I traded a 2008 in on it I will have to check with dealer for maintenance records I have the carfax on the vehicle 22,000.00

Actually the car should be around the same price as the Hyundai Sonata which is around 25,000 for the higher models.
i can take some for sure there was pictures of it on ebay but they are gone now
here in brazil we dont have the Hyundai Azera in white color :/
