the books are grey on the cover because they are from the grey dimension. it makes sense after you read the story.
I hated how the kids claim to be so desperate to get out for fifty years. Then Talia comes back and says 'nah you don't want to go there' and the kids are like 'okay'.
Not to mention after 50 years why would you go BACK TO SCHOOL?

R.L should make all the books a happy ending.
It is honestly my fave goosebumps book!

Gotta love these goosebumps book taglines.
I liked this book, but I thought that girl with the cold would at least go back to the world of color to take care of it before going back to the grey world.
But that wasn't the biggest problem for me. The biggest problem was that the ending was pointless! If Mr. Chameleon is sending all these new kids to the grey world, what's the point? Don't the two guys know how to go home now? All they have to do is smear something with color in it on the walls, and they can go back.
Jarrett Smith There’s also the fact that they weren’t goofing off when Mr. Chameleon was getting ready to take the picture. So it’s probably just going to appear with Tommy trying to stop the picture and everyone still in the normal world

Or the gray could have been continued from where it had progressed on tommy and Ben before they had returned before from the world of color, giving them maybe a few seconds to use Thalia’s lipstick (probably gray by now) or Tommy’s lighter (this time out of fluid) before the gray had completely spread over them
I always liked to think that they somehow either dodged the camera and warned others or found a way out

I use to think this book was incredibly creepy and sad when I was young. Now? Meh. Didn't hold up like A Night in Terror Tower and Curse of Camp Cold Lake did. I mean, a black and white photograph dimension? And who cares if everything is black and white? Is that suppose to be tragic?
The tragic part is that these kids are trapped in a different dimension than their families and will never be able to see them or return to the actual world and most of them have already gone insane to the point of no return

I honestly thought this book was forgettable because I barely remembered what happens. Sometimes not remembering what happens in books is my bad, but I don't even remember what the twist was. If someone can tell me the twist the reply section, I wouldn't mind

R.L Stine has written a lot of horror books. He should stop writing them and give each of them a happy ending.
Like this one. It could have ended like...When the cameraman clicks their photo and they return to the grayworld. Harry could find a girl with a lipstick and then draw a hole on the wall and then all of them could escape. Then Harry would take the help of cops to catch Me Chameleon. And then he could tell how to break the curse of the grayworld. Then all of them would be saved.
Who is Harry? Tommy is the main character and his sidekicks are named Ben and Thalia. No one in the book is named Harry.
That’s a horrible ending stories don’t always need a happy ending they can just end ok a dark note or a mysterious note and I personally prefer that to generic yay we’re all safe again ending
