I had listened to Lee Venden on 3ABN from the Village Church, but didn't know where he had gone, now I can listen to him on UTube. Really enjoyed his sermons. May God continue to bless him in his ministry.
Please revise the part that your life is a small change to God. Christ said we are more than the sparrows. God knows the numbers of our hair. The tides are not made in his image, we are! May God, our heavenly Father bless you with wisdom in this matter.
He was not saying that the person is small change. Preachers need better listeners just as we want better Preachers. No one does it perfectly and our problem is we look at everything from our POV. If you listen to what he actually said instead of what you thought he said, and if you listen to it in the context and inference he was communicating, the tides were the metaphor for GOD'S faithfulness and that any problem or situation that we may face is a small matter for GOD. Not us, but whatever the problem is. Slow down and stop looking for problems where there is no problem. You are making up issues for no reason. The Preacher preached it correctly. Now I see how so many people found fault with JESUS although he was perfect and said everything correctly. We don't see things as they are, we see things as we are. Eyes they have, but they see not! Ears they have, but they hear not!
I heard Morris speak years ago. I'm so glad to find him and his son on YT. I learn something new every time I watch them.
